Here is a strategy to try out a lot of interesting protocols/projects (it also maximizes potential #Airdrops)

Note: I assume you have #ETH/ #MATIC/ #xDai on the relevant chains to pay for gas. If not, see tweet 13 in this thread

Let's go!
Step 0: If you do not already have USDC (~$1000), use @MetaMask to swap. Rumor is this should make you eligible for a potential #metamask airdrop.

But, more importantly, it opens up the entire crypto world for you. No wallet is as well integrated in crypto as #Metamask
Step 1: Bridge 1000 #USDC from #Ethereum to @0xPolygon using @HopProtocol. Cost ~$50. Hop might potentially Airdrop.

#polygon / #matic has amongst the lowest transaction costs. Great for trying out different protocols like @matchaxyz (potential airdrop)
Step 2: Bridge USDC to @xdaichain using Hop again. Transaction Cost: ~$1

A quick reminder: As mentioned in my earlier tweet, this will only help if you already have some #xDai on the chain to pay for gas later. Else see tweet 13 in this thread
Step 3: Exchange USDC to #xDai using @MEVprotection i.e. #cowswap. I love the very low transaction costs on @xdaichain

Also, CowSwap might #airdrop too
Step 4: Exchange xDai back to USDC using #CowSwap. Please note this will require xDai to be wrapped. But since transaction costs are miniscule (in cents), it doesn't matter much.
Step 5: Use Hop to move USDC from @xdaichain to @optimismPBC (fee ~$1)

Interact on @lyrafinance, @kwenta_io and @rubicondefi. Swap/provide liquidity on @Uniswap

There are rumors that Uniswap might airdrop to encourage L2 usage. Lyra is already providing rewards
Step 6: Either move it all to @arbitrum directly using Hop (transaction cost $8). Or move it all to Polygon using Hop (cost $1). Then move it to Arbitrum using @CelerNetwork bridge

Celer already has a token. However, there are some rumors that they might airdrop to bridge users
Step 7: Once on Arbitrum, transact on @MonteCarloDEX (i.e. #mcdex), @handle_fi and others (see portal.arbitrum.one). Experience Uniswap on Arbitrum.

Again, some potential airdrops there
Step 8: Now use @AcrossProtocol to move from Arbitrum to Ethereum. Already declared that they will #airdrop although the criteria is still under discussion. Join their discord to influence it.

If you like Across, you can provide USDC liquidity once you have bridged to mainnet
OR, Step 8a: move it all back to Polygon, convert to MATIC and use @SimpleSwap_io to move it all to SOL to interact with the protocols there. Will leave that discussion for another day.

Or SimpleSwap/bridge to @avalancheavax to try some interesting projects like @SnowbankDAO
If you don't have gas token, you may be better off transferring #MATIC from mainnet instead of #USDC to the Polygon chain. Convert to ETH/USDC as required
In addition to Hop and Celer, @biconomy is also good to bridge from Ethereum to Polygon. But be aware that they have already declared their airdrop cut-off.
While on the topic of Airdrops, connect your wallet to @zapper_fi and do their quests (ideally on Polygon to reduce transaction costs). Also connect it to @zerion_io and swap

Airdrops possible. But more importantly, they are amazing projects
Or use @DeBankDeFi (although they seem to have already decentralized their governance based on the value of the connected wallet. Very smart, if you ask me)
Usual disclaimers. Above is not financial advice. Protocols/projects mentioned above may not airdrop. I am not privy to any internal conversations.

However, I guarantee that you will be amazed at the diversity & quality of projects on crypto
Forgot to add. Arbitrum and Optimism might airdrop too. And, if someone ever rewarded users who bridged to xDai (remember the $2000 GB airdrop for Avalanche bridge users), you would be eligible
