3β£ EU admit that #SARSCoV2 can break immunity. Non approved WHO jabs & the 'recovered' are asked to take a pre-departure PCR.
4β£ "Member States can continue accepting, under their own national law, proof of testing and vaccination issued by non-EU countries"
5β£ "Priority will be given to vaccinated travellers" - the EU continue to adopt a two-tiered societal approach.
6β£ Zero reference to 'unvaccinated'. Main focus is on jabbed & recovered. We can only assume unjabbed will continue to be requested to test & quarantine.
2β£ Jabbed/unjabbed can become infected with & transmit #SARSCoV2, with similar viral load. Proving 'status' does nothing at a venue. *Nothing* to control spread or reassure.
Vulnerable people are 'safe & protected' since they received initial jabs & a booster. Not an argument.
3β£ The Govt ERP programme masquerading as public health was ultimately measuring compliancy for #vaccinepassports.
The majority of attendees were young, fit & unvaccinated at the time of Phase 1 trials. Natural immunity would have accounted for such low 'cases', ie 28 / 7764.
βοΈ UPDATE: On Nov 8th the #UnitedStates will reopen international travel.
π€ The advice from @CDCgov is very ambiguous. However, it still looks like unvaccinated can travel to the US providing they have a negative test @UKTwinds
Shunning unvaccinated travellers from any country, even with a neg. test, infringes intl law incl. temporary provisions within the International Health Regulations (2005) alongside its PHEIC for #SARSCoV2.
βΉοΈ A requirement is not *essential*. Restrictions on freedom of movement & banning entry of citizens are not the same.
Exemptions provide less restrictions on movement upon arrival at a destination.
Gov.uk also refer to US unvaccinated travel below.
βοΈ A short guide on how to beat #VaccinePassports, Day 2/8 testing & quarantine using a 'transit exemption' arriving into #England from non red list countries
1β£ Book a cheap flight with a low cost carrier to the EU mainland. This will be your 'onward journey'.
(contd.) π
2β£ If you're unvaccinated, fill out the UK Passenger Locator Form *carefully* as some things have updated.
After entering your passport number/expiry, you'll then reach 'Your COVID-19 vaccination status'.
Choose 'No/Prefer Not To Say' & continue...
3β£ Next will be 'Your Travel Plans', select 'Stay in the UK' & continue.
4β£ After filling in some other sections e.g. flight details, arrival/departure dates, accompanying minors, you'll come to "Self-isolation in the UK"
