Ibn Saud was the ruler of Hijaz and later the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In 1927, Yaqub Ali Irfani Sahib, a prominent and devout companion of the Promised Messiah (as), performed the pilgrimage of Hajj.
During his stay in Makkah, he also had the opportunity to meet with Sultan Ibn Saud, who was the king of the Hijaz and the custodian of the two holy sites.
The conversation that took place between them has been preserved in his memoirs titled Kitab-ul-Hajj.
𝗜𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗯 (𝗿𝗮): Your Majesty! Do you know the reason why you have been bestowed the custodianship of the two holy sites, Makkah & Madinah?
𝗜𝗯𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗱:
ذَٰلِكَ فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤۡتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُۚ
[That is Allah’s grace; He bestows it on whom He pleases.]
𝗜𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗯 (𝗿𝗮): No doubt it is owing to His grace, but at times, there are certain reasons as to why Allah the Almighty grants His grace.
𝗦𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗯𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗱: I am not aware of the reasons, but what is your thought on the matter?
𝗜𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗯 (𝗿𝗮): Your elders came to perform the Hajj during the rule of the Sharif family. However, owing to their difference in beliefs, they were stopped from Hajj. Allah was displeased by this & as a result He took this honour away from them...
and it was granted to the House of Saud.
𝗦𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗯𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗱: Marhaban!
𝗜𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗯 (𝗿𝗮): The reason why I have reminded you of this incident is because the holy city of Makkah is a centre for all Muslims.
...Muslims of different schools of thought will come here; some of them will even hold beliefs which you may not agree with. Thus, if you oppose them simply owing to a difference of belief then remember that God Almighty will take away this custodianship from you...
...and bestow it upon someone who will not oppose others owing to their beliefs.
(Taufeeq Sharif, the Wazir-e-Ma'arif was interpreting on my behalf and I also tried to converse in whatever little Arabic I knew. Upon hearing this, Ibn Saud stood up reciting Istighfar and said:)
𝗦𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗯𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗱: God-willing I will never do such a thing. In fact, you are here and were not stopped even though I received a complaint against you, but I took no notice of it.
“O Prophet, thou art only a warner over them — thou hast no authority to compel them.”
(Holy Qur’an, 88:22-23)
This means that there can be no situation permissible in Islamic law for a teaching of #Islam to be forced upon its citizenship.
Simply because it is written in the holy book of #Islam. Not only is this discriminatory against the adherents of other beliefs, but it also undermines the entire system of religious spirituality.
It is stressed that true #Brotherhood can be established only by virtue of our relationship with one another through God. Other factors — common interests, common pursuits, common occupations...
...may help to foster #friendship and #Brotherhood to a degree, but the very same factors may also engender jealousy and hostility.
It is only the consciousness that mankind are all equally creatures and servants of God and that they must all constantly seek the pleasure of God.
...that can bring about the realization of true brotherhood, which can stand the test of all the contingencies to which life is subject.
Allah says:
“Hold fast, all together, by the rope of #Allah, and be not divided; & remember the favour of Allah, which He bestowed upon you...
“And we have sent thee not, O Muhammad, but as a mercy for all peoples.”
(Holy Qur’an 21:108)
(Thread) #ProphetMuhammad
The #ProphetMuhammad (saw) was a true prince of #peace. He was patient in persecution and forbearing in victory. As a subject, he gave due rights to his rulers. As a ruler, he gave due rights to his subjects. He ensured every people could practise their own religion freely. (2)
He uplifted #women from a position of servitude into one of #Respect and #dignity. He insisted upon education of children, fair treatment of orphans, and compassion for the elderly. He stamped out racism and institutionalised charity in the Islamic conscience. (3)
Hazrat Amirul Momineen, Khalifatul Masih Vaa was asked various questions about Ahmadiyyat. Huzoor atba, in a letter dated 23 March 2020, gave the following reply to those questions:

“[…] As far as the #Ahmadiyya Jamaat is concerned, it is not a new religion; rather, it is the true community of #Islam which #Allah the Exalted has established in exact accordance with the prophecies of the Founder of Islam, the #HolyProphet Muhammad saw, the Chosen One. (2/8)
“Just as #Allah the Exalted sent prophets in different regions and at different times for the reformation and betterment of the world and revealed teachings to them to guide the people in the past, He also sent our Master and Guide, the #HolyProphet Muhammad saw,...(3/8)
Is it against the dignity of a person to clear rubbish?
Hazrat Amirul Momineen, Khalifatul Masih Vaa was asked various questions. Huzoor atba, in a letter dated 23 March 2020, gave the following reply to those questions:
“[…] Those who have objected to your removal of garbage are wrong. In the #Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, the term ‘waqar-e-amal’ is used for such work. That is, a deed that increases one’s dignity and honour.
Keeping one’s surroundings and environment clean is a very good habit that has been commanded by #Allah the Exalted and His #Messenger sa. I myself have picked up litter many times under the scheme of waqar-e-amal and have cleaned dirty drains.
The rightly Guided Imams from Allah where Prophets and for this reason Allah calls Prophets as Mahdi (21:74)
@abdulazeem788@AbdulBasit11236@ItHamzatweets Now when we turn to the books of the Ahadith, all Sunni Muslims agree that Bukhari and Muslim are the two most authentic books of the sayings of the Holy Prophet. A topic as important as the Mahdi would have surely been included in these two compilations. (2)
@abdulazeem788@AbdulBasit11236@ItHamzatweets Both books in reality prove to us that the Messiah would be the Imam Mahdi and it is clear that both imams did not relate the ahadith in regards to the Mahdi because of the inauthenticity of majority, which made them disregard the belief of a separate mahdi from the Messiah.
