Ordered some food that’s very popular in Northern India, especially in Delhi; became a favourite eversince it stormed the menu few years back. It is a healthy choice of snacky food for vegetarians & comes in various forms, including tandoori, sushi and what not.

I tried this from a small takeaway and “eat as you stand there,” kind of restaurant; which is very popular with young generation who otherwise prefer fast food & mostly non veg.

I am indicating at the ecosystem that is now enabling the new entrepreneurs with zippy ideas

Wallets and food app like @zomato & others have enabled these new Turks with a ready customer base, with their relatable trustworthy services.

Bollywood is facing what was faced by many industries, Brands & Products in 1990s when country, under PVNR opened up its arms to overseas investments and loosened restrictions; all as part of Lewis Preston led IMF plan when Indian took to mid path of economic reforms.

Well known Indian products & brands were pitted against world’s best brands & consumers were flooded with choices !

Better looking, better priced, updated technology, superior after sales & service & brands that were used worldwide; foreign products overnight edged out &

shut shops of many. Some I can fondly remember were Allwyn, Ambassador, Priya, Rajdoot, Fiat, HMT, BPL (ultimately), Kelvinator, Texla, Keltron, Onida & many electronic products produced by state firms like Uptron, Keltron & so on.

Bali - Enchanting Land of Hinduism

Wow, "Arujn", said my son the moment he saw a massive white sculpture on a roundabout in Bali; visited for fun, frolic & water, like most of us Indians do. Driver of the vehicle, one Mr Moyo, a kind hearted person, very calmly corrected;

Will WFH related HR and Management policies be a crucial factor in employee retention for firms ? COVID seems to be around much longer than we all hoped ;

Talking to some of my industry colleagues, especially at senior positions, I get to hear different voices.

Ones who are good at delegation of work at office seemed more receptive to idea of longer WFH policies & may even be fine to perpetualise the arrangement.

Managers who prefer to see their reportees in front are less amenable to the idea, as they fear lack of control &

Employee perspective is very important while crystallising policies. Resources are more likely to evaluate job options more on HR policies concerning #WFH

I was traveling in France and worked with a French gentleman who worked in the firm which gave us some automation hardware systems.

A proud French he took me to city tour almost everyday after our day’s work was over. Paris is a historical city with art & architecture!

I was awestruck with his knowledge about European history & in particular knowledge about French art & history.

When we discussed families, he mentioned he has 2 sons busy with schooling.

Gentleman mentioned that the family has a History Teacher who comes home to

teach both their kids, and it is twice a week. Some of his friends have somewhat similar arrangement.

He emphatically said, you know nothing if you don’t know your history and you must ensure kids know the real history and it is passed on from one generation to another.
