1. No matter how bad your life can seem, you can always make it worse.
2. Knowing what you need to do isn't enough to create a change.
3. Change requires you to do things that feel hard and scary. Change requires courage and confidence.
4. When you focus on problems, your mind magnifies them.
5. Your instincts may seem stupid in the moment, but when you honor them with deliberate action, they can change your life.
6. When it comes to goals, dreams, and changing your life, your inner wisdom is a genius. Your goal-related impulses, urges, and instincts are there to guide you. You need to learn to bet on them.
7. The moment you have an instinct to act on a goal, you must 5-4-3-2-1 and physically move or your brain will stop you.
8. Pushing yourself to take simple actions creates a chain reaction in your confidence and your productivity.
9. The more that you believe that you are in control of your life, your actions and your future, the happier and more successful you'll be.
10. Only we can hold ourselves back.
11. Don't be afraid to ask the universe for what you want in life.
12. Don't say no to opportunities, even if you blindly stumbled upon them.
13. If you're going to doubt something, doubt your limits.
14. There's nothing more powerful than the feeling of confidence and pride you gain when you keep trudging forward, face life's challenges head on, and push yourself to change for the better.
15. Hesitation is the kiss of death.
16. It's not the big moves that define our lives; it's the smallest ones.
17. Every phase of your life and career will require a different you.
18. Knowing what you need to do to improve your life takes wisdom. Pushing yourself to do it takes courage. - @melrobbins #5SecondRule
19. Change requires you to do things that are uncertain, scary, or new.
20. Change your decisions and you'll change your life.
21. Courage changes your decision more than anything.
22. Everyday life is full of moments that are scary, uncertain, and difficult. Facing these moments and unlocking the opportunity, magic, and joy in your life requires tremendous courage.

#chapter5
23. You can achieve anything that you're passionate about and are willing to work for.
24. It's not the big moves that change everything - it's the smallest ones in your everyday life that do.
25. We are all more than capable of finding the courage to "act out of character" when the moment matters.
26. Courage is a birthright. It is inside each and every one of us.
27. When you push yourself, you may not change the world, the laws, or spark a civil rights movement, but [...] you'll change something equally as important - you'll change yourself.
28. There's only one YOU. And there will never be another one. That's your power.
29. You'll never stop yourself from starting to worry about something. But you can stop yourself from letting those worries drag you into a parade of worries that take control of your mind.

#chapter6
30. When you make excuses and talk yourself into waiting, you are limiting your ability to make your dreams come true.
31. There's no right time. There's only right now. You get one life. This is it.
32. Waiting until you're ready will not make it happen. The world does not work that way.
33. You push yourself to get out of your comfort zone and you begin. There's no other way. You stop waiting for the "right time" and you start.
34. To change anything, you actually have to do it.
36. The difference between people who make their dreams come through and those of us who don't is just one thing: the courage to start and the discipline to keep going.
37. You can feel uncertain and be ready. You can be afraid and do it anyway. You can fear rejection and still go for it.
38. The treasure in your life is buried within you. It's not inside of someone else.
39. When you discover your "inner true self", it will be the "most important gift of all."
40. Nobody is going to come get you to live the life that you want to live and taking action is the only way to create your own space into the world. - Jean-Baptiste.
41. The potential for massive greatness exists inside every single one of us.
42. If you want to make your dreams come true, get ready for the long game.
43. Success is a numbers game. And you're not going to win it if you keep telling yourself to wait. The more often that you choose courage, the more likely you'll succeed.
44. Change is simple, not easy.

#chapter8
Change requires you to act deliberately, despite how you feel.
46. Your body won't go where your mind doesn't push it.
47. When you follow your instincts to lead a healthier lifestyle by taking a courageous action, change starts to happen in your life.
48. It takes courage to start something, it takes courage to stick with it, and it definitely takes courage to share it with the world.
49. Life is about the choices we make.
50. Waking up early and planning out your day has huge benefits.
51. Start before you’re ready. Don’t
prepare, begin.
52. There are two kinds of procrastination: destructive procrastination, which is when you avoid tasks you need to complete, and
productive procrastination, which is an important part of any creative process.
53. Interestingly, research proves that when you can picture the “Future You,” it gives you the objectivity to push yourself in the present moment.
54. What we are learning over and over in this book is that unless you beat the feelings that trigger your bad habits, and you push yourself to just get started, you’ll never change.
55. You’ll either find a way or you’ll find an excuse.
56.
Life is amazing.
And then it’s awful.
And then it’s amazing again.
And in between the amazing and the awful,
it’s ordinary and mundane and routine.
Breathe in the amazing, hold on through
the awful, and relax and exhale
during the ordinary...
...That’s just living.
Heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing,
awful, ordinary life. And it’s
breathtakingly beautiful.

- LR Knost
57. It’s okay to be scared. Being scared means you’re about to do something really, really brave.
#Chapter12 #the5secondsrule #melrobbins
58. “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
- AA Milne
#chapter13 #5secondrule #melrobbins
59. Master your mind and anything is possible.
#chapter14
60. There will always be someone who can’t see your worth. Don’t let it be you.

61. Anyone can learn how to become more confident. It’s not a personality trait. It’s a skill.
#chapter15 #confidence #skill
62. Confidence in yourself is built through acts of everyday courage.
#confidence #courage
63. Speak from your heart, even if your
voice shakes.
#speak #heart #voice
64. Pay close attention to envy. If you find yourself jealous of someone else, explore that feeling. What aspect of their life are you jealous of? This may give you a clue into what you really want for yourself.
#attention #envy #jealous #feeling #explore
65. Don’t tell people your dreams. Show them.
#tell #dreams #show
66. Leave nothing important unsaid.
#unsaid
67. Intimacy takes courage. Risking getting emotional or upsetting someone so that
you can express yourself is scary, but the result is magical.
#intimacy #courage #risk #emotional #result #magical
68. Waiting for the right time to get real in your relationships is a fool’s errand. There is no right time to have the conversation, ask the hard questions, say “I love you,” or take the time to truly listen. There is only right now. #waiting #righttime #relationship #now
69. All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.
- Walt Disney

70. One moment of courage can change your day. One day can change your life. And your life can change the world.
#courage #life #world #change
71. There is greatness in you. The time to reveal it is now.
#greatness #reveal #now
Finally got to the end of this treasure. Packed with words of advice on how to get things done w/out having to think it over and over again. Just 5. 4. 3. 2. 1 and do what needs to be done. Right away. Can't wait to begin implementing this in my daily life. Thanks, @melrobbins.
