On 4 January the Government announced it will provide 100,000 critical workers in England with free lateral flow tests to help keep essential services and supply chains running. Read our thread below as we explain what this means 🧵👇 Image
This scheme launched on Monday 10 January, with workers being able to test for 5 working days each week for 5 weeks. We are facilitating the delivery of these tests so workers have what they need to continue their important work.

⏺️If you test positive on day 6 or 7, you can re-test yourself later during the 10-day period.

⏺️You can leave self-isolation when you have had two negative tests, at least 24 hours apart, on consecutive days – e.g. on days 7 & 8, or days 8 & 9, or days 9 & 10.
⏺️If you leave self-isolation on or after day 7 you are strongly advised to limit close contact with other people in crowded or poorly ventilated spaces, work from home where possible and minimise contact with anyone who might be at risk of severe illness if infected with COVID.
