This election is the most important of my lifetime.
We have scraped the bottom of the barrel with Scott Morrison, quite literally.

Never before has any man been so wholly unsuitable or ill-equipped to be Prime Minister. His legacy is testament to that fact.
He doesn't hold a hose.
He doesn't give a RATs.
It's not his job.
Jenny has to explain the most fundamental things to him. He's clueless.

Anthony Albanese is the change Australia needs. He is a good man. He is an honest man. He's humble, intelligent, authentic. He will make a great PM & we will be lucky to have him
I know, as an Australian, I deserve better than Scott Morrison & his rabble of a Govt.
π #auspol
I want a Govt led by an honest man. I want to be proud of my PM when he struts the world stage
I want a PM who cares & that man is Anthony Albanese @AlboMP
& he's backed-up by a kick-arse team of MPs & Senators who are biting at the bit to make their mark

I've just returned from a tip up to north QLD, traveled via coal mine country - Rolleston/Injune/Clermont/etc.
I have to say these communities don't seem to be benefiting from coal mining much (as Libs & Nats insist). Most workers must be FIFO/DIDO.
π #auspol
These towns are dilapidated, vacant shops, lucky to have an IGA. The houses are old & dilapidated. The cars in town are basic, well-used, nothing flash.
No evidence these locals are on $150-$250K+ coal mining incomes. So, I'm guessing they're not mostly.
π #auspol
Buildings (like council chambers/churches/schools/hospitals/etc are small & old), roads aren't the best.
Basically, there's very little evidence in these communities that they sit atop a multi-billion dollar industry.
The money isn't staying in these towns.

The lower wages get, the more Australians are going to look to politicians & other leaders in society on massive salaries & demand more bang for our buck.
There's a trade-off here.
The masses are OK paying the big bucks & won't riot if we get a fair go.
π #auspol#insiders
Currently, we're not getting a fair go & don't fucking tell me that we are.
Wage stagnation is rising. Job insecurity is rising. Homelessness is rising. Housing costs are rising. Cost of living is rising. Inequality is rising. Corruption is rising.

I've had a gutful
Morrison Govt are NOT good economic mangers, they're fucking atrocious
Morrison has no moral compass, NFI how to the job.
There are no consequences for wrong-doing, so his Ministers are out-of-control.
I asked several what 'rights' they think they had?
Predictably, they sprouted rights defined in the US Constitution & Bill of Rights.
Neither of these documents apply to Australia.
π #auspol
Australia does NOT have a Bill of Rights which enshrines the rights of the individual.
The Australian Constitution defines individual rights of religion, discrimination, acquisition of property, free trade between states & the right to trial by jury.
I rent, I had a scheduled inspection a couple of wks ago.
I have a lovely property agent & agency. Over the last few years we've built up a rapport whenever I've seen my PA from time to time.
Last time she came she told me that she won't be my property agent anymore
π #auspol
Disappointed, I asked why?
She said "I've thought about it for a while & I've decided to go into sales, this is the direction I want my career to go".
I told her that even though I'll miss her, I wish her every success in the world.
π #auspol
And, I told her how beautifully empowering it was to just hear her speak that way.
This is exactly what the women of my age fought for, so young women, our daughters & granddaughters can make these plans for their lives, their families, their careers. Their choice.
