3. Pat King is also still in jail having been denied bail, but he seems to think that he has found the magic formula to get himself out... he just needs his supporters to pony up $100,000.
4. Here is a fairly representative sample of comments that were left on his Facebook page.
5. Heading over to Calgary, we see that Dawid Pawlowski, Artur Pawlowski's brother, was arrested today.
6. Like Artur, Dawid Pawlowski has been a regular at anti-mandate protests, has spread dangerous disinformation, and has engaged in illegal behaviour with the belief he is above the law.
Even while arrested by "tyrants" he is treated with kid gloves.
7. The Telegram page "Real Canadian Convoy" has changed it's name.
8. Now in addition to the anti-mandate rhetoric and vaccine conspiracies, we get to be treated to a steady stream of pro-Putin propaganda because, you know, these folks are critical thinkers.
9. Diagolon de facto leader Jeremy MacKenzie, who predicted the fall of Ukraine in less than 72 hours and suggested the West "take the L" lest Russia wipe them out, is whining about out anti-mandate occupiers are the real victims still.
15. Far-right pseudo-journalist Leigh Stewart seems to believe that, despite mandates appearing to be ending in many province, the real purpose was to create a class of complaint drones easy for the government to control in the future.
16. However she too is annoyed that the invasion of Ukraine by Russia has resulted in attention being turned away from what she must regard as "real" tyranny.
17. In fact that is sort of the theme among many who I had been covering.
For example, Tyler Russell of the hate group Canada First, currently vacationing in Mexico thanks to the Bank of Mom and Dad, had been celebrating the "success" of Nick Fuentes' event.
20. And yes, here Tyler Russell and Nick Fuentes are hanging out with Proud Boy founder
Gavin McInnes and with Milo Yiannopoulos.
21. However he is angry that it isn't receiving the attention that he feels it deserves.
22. Yeah, hard to believe a major geopolitical crisis would trump a far-right meet and greet.
23. Chris Saccoccia (aka Chris Sky) is in the process of planning another tour of self-promotion (because of course he is).
25. Already becoming increasingly irrelevant, Mr. Teeth doesn't want people talking about Ukraine because, and I have to presume this, it takes attention away from him personally.
27. Former Rebel Media personality and discount Tin Tin Keean Bexte, well, just has to keep on being Keean Bexte and that is tragedy enough.
28. Now, where does this leave us?
As I told journalists who have interviewed me we have to recognize that these people and those they radicalized are not going away.
29. We saw them move from one issue to another so I don't doubt that they will find the next issue, probably the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, in order to mine outrage and grievance.
30. The question is what do WE as Canadians do?
Do we again bury our heads in the sand and pretend this doesn't exist because it doesn't affect us directly?
Or do we come to terms with the reality of the far-right in this country and take steps to actually confront it and deal with it?

2. Probably the biggest #OttawaOccupy event today is Pat King's bail hearing. I'll get to that shortly, but my most important news of the day is that I'm starting to kick as at Wordle.

3. The fine folks at @antihateca are live tweeting the hearing. Big news there is the Crown brought forth new evidence that may affect the decision to grant bail and are asking t reopen the hearing.
2. Because the world has gone mad and most attention is being paid to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, there probably won't be may updates in this thread. In fact as a lot of right-wing extremists have turned their attention to supporting Putin I'll probably soon focus on that.
3. However, in the meantime, we see a fascinating response to the end of the Emergency Act.
The supporters of the #OttawaOccupation appear to believe that they won?
2. Sort of taking a bit of a break. Things look slowish right now (though I haven't actually done a deep dig) so I figured that this would be an appropriate time.
3. That said, I missed this when it first came out.
2. While I haven't been focusing on the QAnon self-proclaimed Queen, Romana Didulo and her entourage continue to hold court in Ottawa in their world that continues to be divorced from reality.
3. But even she seems to recognize that it is time to go home.
2. First a few things I caught before but didn't post.
First, Tyler Russell of the hate group Canada First believes because he was on a far-right video stream which attracts far-right listeners that they are "inevitable."
Folks, classic example of the echo chamber at work.
