If true, then here's my opinion on it:

It takes more than one person to make and distribute a music video. Hundreds.

Not one of them had the courage to be a whistleblower?

This kind of "art" is domestic abuse. Simple.

Whenever I see domestic abuse in public, it doesn't matter to me if the abuser is a prince or a pauper, as the saying goes.

When we are silent about domestic abuse, we are complicit in it, and we send the wrong signal to current and future survivors of it.

I don't have a very high opinion of the survivor, her partner, or the abuser here. But that's irrelevant.

The public need to better understand the dynamics of domestic abuse. Because we can vote.

We have a moral duty to avoid being a complicit bystander, as best we can.

Domestic abuse everywhere has the same core dynamics. And in each cultural context there are some modifications.

Jealousy and rage toward the people or things important to the survivor is common & is linked to the greatest harms of domestic abuse. The taking of innocent life.

Survivors of domestic abuse come in any gender, race, nationality, age, or other circumstance. By far the majority of us are female survivors of male abusers.

The jealousy-rage-violence kind of domestic abuse predominantly affects this group. And our kids.

We all know that the survivor in this case can afford adequate security and is highly unlikely to be successfully targeted offline by the abuser.

But what about the rest of us?

This kind of music video is very corrosive in the public domain.

It's too late to stop it, and I'm not advocating for a law change, either.

I'm advocating for all of us to be better informed about issues like this.

You might one day be part of creating a music video.

The old saying "absolute power corrupts absolutely" can help explain how an individual can descend into actions or omissions that cause deep harm to innocent people.

Having lots of money can make a person deviate from doing what they were taught was right.

What causes a person to become a warmongering tyrant like Putin?

What causes a person to enter a life of crime like TFG?

What causes a person to go off the rails like KW?

Whatever the cause, it is up to you and me to stop them.

(There is almost always a lawful, non-violent way to do that, BTW.)

Our PMs and presidents allowed Putin to gain and hold power. They have no excuse for not knowing what he would do to Ukraine, & to the rest of us.

Most of us are aghast at the insanity we've seen in our countries in recent years.

I'm referring to all the actions and omissions that go against the national security and democratic path we are supposed to be on.

(And public health measures = national security, IMO.)

My country NZ, has a strong democracy and adherence to the rule of law. We are lucky.

Seemingly disparate topics are inter-related, to me.

Domestic abuse, fraud, sedition, appeasement, and unprovoked war are on the same spectrum.

Be alert.
