On Dec 5th last year, Putin came to India for few hours & agreed to take Indian payment systems (RuPay) to Russia.

This is the same system which is giving sleepless nights to #Mastercard & #Visa.

It's a far better & cheaper payments system compared to any in the world.

In case of USA weaponising it's tech companies, sovereign nations will need something to keep their digital payments on

And this risk became an actual event as seen during #RussianUkrainianWar. USA blocked access to electronic payments resulting in severe inconvenience to Russian public.
But let's see what did Putin plan!

He asked India to setup RuPay system in Russia so that an alternative..

Can be setup. Check point 29 in the joint statement & release from ministry of external affairs of India.

Days of American hegemony are numbered. More countries will act to be truly independent, ie from USA tech also.

China was way ahead of every country in building independent systems. They didn't even allow #Facebook, #Twitter or #Google!
Imagine life without Google! But for Chinese people, they have their own google, Twitter, Whatsapp etc, all developed in China & not controlled by west!

Apart from digital payments, Russia & India also discussed about connecting their global payment system, an alternative to #SWIFT. Now after America's act of stopping SWIFT payments for Russia, every country would like to have a backup. And guess what? ....

... 3 countries have developed alternative to SWIFT.... India, China & Russia! No surprises here!
China has a majority share of global trade, if more countries start joining these financial networks for reducing dependence on America, then what will happen to western supremacists

China will push transactions in alternate currencies than American $.
What do you think will happen to dollar's value? What will happen to America with $ losing its value even slightly?
Russia & India are already working to connect their financial networks.
