manner, upper cloth and a gem studded gold chain around his neck. He held a large plate on which were fruits, flowers, sugar candy, grapes, cashew nuts, honey and with all these, money, packed inside a cover. They placed the plate in front of Sri Maha Periyava and prostrated to
Him. Periyava gently probed the plate with His eyes.
“What cover is that?”
“Just a little money”

after he left asked my friend’s father to give what he had, keeping money for his return bus ticket. His father gave the ₹350 he had at that time. Such was His righteousness in taking money only from those who earned it in the proper way. Hara Hara Sankara🙏🏻)
