This is the norm, not the exception

There are a number of reasons why this happens.

Here are some of them…

You may be learning a topic a bit too early.

Some topics need a good understanding of other concepts before you can fully grasp them.

#ObjectOrientedProgramming is one such area. Many beginners try to learn this topic before they've fully mastered the basics…

Nothing wrong with that. But it will be harder for everything to slot in place until you become more proficient with some other fundamentals

Some topics are more abstract than others. The more abstract a topic is, the longer it will take to 'bed in'.

Learning about decorators is one such area, for example.

The resources you're learning from matter.

Try to read different books & watch different tutorials for topics you're struggling with

Something that you read or watch in one of the resources will resonate with you. You may read an analogy that works for you. Things will click

You should also be prepared for the U-shaped journey.

You start by realising you don't know a topic.

Then you feel you've learnt it and you know it well.

And then you realise there's still a lot about the topic you still don't know.
