@0LNetwork's strategy is to stay as close as possible to the #Libra/#Diem code base, rather than fragmenting #technology products. This approach is more efficient on resources and best for the wider open-source #ecosystem these #tools extend and depend upon
#0LNetwork #Move Image

The #forking strategy is simple in concept: take the unmodified #Diem code, import it into the 0L, and add layers of features. But it's not that simple in execution
They has to insert many changes in main places of the diem-core code for the #0L layers and side-cars to work

What they inherited from #Libra/#Diem is a spaceship on all accounts. There are #engineering breakthroughs #throughout the project, and the #architecture is sensibly designed and expertly assembled

Uninstalled and reinstalled @ProgrammingHero again, did the exam for #Cpp course, and it still crashed at the end.

:/

It could be my phone. I'll have to try installing it on another device. Still a bummer screenshot of the error message as programming hero app cras
Also resinstalled the very different app, @Prghub, which has much shorter courses and as a result felt deceptive about how much you were learning. I haven't uses it in over a year for sure. They have a bunch of new courses. I'll try some-I don't know if I'll keep at it w this app

Memoization: Using Proxy in JavaScript

#100DaysOfCode #javascript #rarely_used #devbubble
Memoization is a technique used to optimize the performance of a function by caching its results for a given set of inputs.

#100DaysOfCode #reactjs #Angular #NodeJS
The idea is that if a function is called multiple times with the same input, it's more efficient to return the cached result instead of re-computing the result each time.

Frustrated by verbose #ComsWasm smart contract tests?

Today I would like to introduce to the @cosmos community the Robot Pattern for stable, readable, and maintainable tests.

If you are a developer, you don't want to miss this one, I promise 😎

Let's dive in! 🧵

1/
From testing 101:

The QA team checks app functionality via the UI. The tester doesn’t care how the application is written as he just interfaces with the UI.

In case of smart contracts, the tester checks at the frontend to interact with the contracts. #smartcontract #testing

2/
So for the tester to check say an asset swap on a #DeFi protocol, it performs the following actions:

• Visit the frontend
• Go to swap page
• Connect wallet
• Select Asset X from the dropdown
• Enter amount of Asset X to swap
• Click Swap
• Verify swap was successful

Want to know a secret to making your game development process run smoothly? 🔥

Let's talk about versioning 🧵👇

#gameDev #indieDev #indieGameDev #coding #unrealEngine #unity3D
First of all I want to point out the importance of clear and consistent versioning of your game builds. Keeping track of changes and updates is essential for ensuring that your game is stable, efficient, and easy to understand for both the development team and the players.
Typically a game version is made up of 3 to 4 elements, like 1.0.14 or 1.3.74.8.

You can basically break them down as follows: [Major].[Minor].[Patch].[Build]

You're not alone!

In this thread, I'll show you some tips and tricks for upping your function-writing game.

Let's dive in...

In this thread I will cover:

1. When to write functions
2. How to write functions
3. Tidy evaluation
