How about a #TTRPG adventure that not only helps you immerse in a #Fantasy and #Mythic setting, but helps you bring a bit of this world outside the game?
In #TheCaveOfOurPeople, PCs are going through a #RitualOfPassage to become full members of their tribe. They are not necessarily young. They accept people from all sorts, from other people and species, other tribes, exiled ones, and anyone who needs a place for themselves.

They will drink a magical tea prepared by the tribe’s elder and experience vivid dreams that will reveal their destiny and secrets of their people’s past. They will see things that were not there but will be guided by the tribe’s ancestors too. It’s a #DreamCrawl!

With an elegant and utilitarian #Layout, the adventure can be run almost on the spot, as Referees can easily identify everything that’s important with a quick glance. The #BulletPoint text design help keep play fluid and easy for the GM!

#TheCaveOfOurPeople presents challenges of many different types and showcase how the #PrimalQuest engine can handle all sorts of situations with elegance and variety, while not being the solution to all challenges in play. Player ingenuity is still in the center stage!
5/8
Players will be encouraged to find solutions that are not as simple as “smash everything that moves” and will be rewarded for that. In this #Weird#StoneAndSorcery#AdventureGame, often making allies will be far more valuable to them! And this will shape gameplay!

And, in the end, PCs will make a #CavePainting to share they adventure and vision to their tribe, and the adventure urges the players to do the same! In a #Multimedia activity, people playing #PrimalQuest can share their adventure with a larger tribe: US!
I have a few titles that are going to be heavily discounted there! Don’t miss out if you want a copy!
I will put links to each of them below!
Lost in the Deep is a Solo Journaling RPG inspired by The Wretched and other Wretched and Alone Games. To play you will need a deck of cards, a block tower and a single d6.
The Dead Are Coming is a minimalist RPG about survival in a post-apocalyptic world where the dead have risen and other survivors can be much worse than the undead.
We have less than 5 days left on the #Folklore#Bestiary for #DnD 5e and #OldSchoolEssentials!
Creators from ALL AROUND THE WORLD are adapting their favorite creatures from their cultures to their favorite #TTRPG!
Being a Brazilian writing in English in a community that is predominantly US/Europe centered, was always hard.
Having a #TTRPG#Monster#Book inspired by the #Folklore of other people, being made in collaboration with people all around, was great!
We have a rich and varied #Folklore in Brazil. We have stories that trace all the way back the native people and their rich culture. Legends that came all the way from Africa. Stories and fantasy tales from Europe too. All mixed up in our imagination. To adapt that to #TTRPG? YES
#SoYouWannaCreateTTRPG?
Don’t worry about being original.
Plagiarism is stealing from one source. Originality is stealing from many.
Making a perfect copy is humanely impossible. Seek #Inspiration whenever you can find it.
Don’t worry too much about what’s good and bad. Look for stuff to steal, modify, reinterpret, corrupt.
A game you don’t like to play may teach you something yet.
A movie you don’t care about might have a cool character.
Keep your eyes open. We don’t see a lot.

Since I was mugged a few people asked me about how things are here, and I thought about sharing a little bit of my experience with violence here in Rio de Janeiro. However, even being considered “whitish” for Brazilian standards, I’ve seen and experienced some brutal stuff, CW!!!
I am Latino. Brazilian. Whatever. Definitely not white, especially if you put me side by side with a white person from the US or Europe. But in Brazil, I have a lighter skin, and that’s seen a white by most people. I am middle class, cis and heterosexual. So I am “privileged”.
I grow up as lower middle class, but since I was little I learned to live with death violence. Near my building when I was a kid we had the “Death Corner”. Two roads crossed each other and as crime is so common here, people seldom stop at traffic light, so they crashed.
@ForestedDepth is posting a personal conversation I had with then when they had a fight with a friend of mine and demanded I get involved. It’s completely edited and missing many parts. I don’t know that person.
I basically said in that particular fight (apparently they fight here a lot) I thought both were wrong and were needlessly aggressive.
They had began to associate with the known alt-right individual known as RPGPundit and yeah, I really don’t want any association with Pundit.
I never said anything ill about @ForestedDepths, and will continue to do so. I have enough problems of my own. But since they shared a personal conversation without my authorization, if you want to see the entire thing, without editing, PM me. It’s not worth your time though.
