🇺🇦🧵🗣️Report from Kenneth Gregg from yesterday (1/8): "Some info from #Kherson that I am allowed to publish: there has been a whole series of explosions in Kherson today [yesterday]. No information if it is our guerilla squads or our artillery that have been at it.-->
2:" I have 4 fellow soldiers who are active on this front and they have not been active on their phone apps since yesterday afternoon. This means that the info lock is tight.
In #Kharkiv no frontal changes, nor any major changes on the eastern front. -->
4:"The airfield near #Sieverodonetsk is still held by us. The #Bakhmut line is holding and the Russian attacks today have been repulsed. I have informed you that HIMARS have arrived and so have other weapons. -->
5:"The Russians have become wary of getting their aircraft too close to the Ukrainian border so today their TU-95MS bombers fired their missiles from the Caspian Sea, 6-10 in total. -->
6:"We all know that they steal our wheat that was meant for export but now they have also stolen 96 ha of solar panels(!). Ukraine's largest solar farm has been dismantled and moved to Russia. This shows that either they themselves believe that they will not last very long -->
7:"... or it is a strategy to leave the occupied territories totally empty and deserted.
To clarify the Nordic media's cruel headlines about the Russians breaking through with massive armour in the #Donbas: this is their take on the same situation I have reported earlier. -->
8:"This is the same area - of no strategic importance - that we retreated from earlier and which the Russians have shelled only empty positions for several hours.
What the hell is our news media doing??? #SlavaUkraini " /End of report

🇺🇦🧵🗣Kenneth Gregg here: (1/6) "Midsummer Eve update. On the Eastern Front, we have gone into new positions and despite retreat orders from #Sieverodonetsk, the fighting continues. It is probably to keep the Russians at bay as it takes time to organize the retreat because-->
2:"...we have civilians to take with us. Probably we will now tonight experience a massive Ukrainian artillery fire and in protection of it the retreat itself takes place. It's a classic tactic.
South of Izuim we have small Ukrainian advances but no noticeable changes. -->
3:"On the #Kharkiv front, the Ukrainian positions are under constant artillery fire, but no significant Ukrainian losses.
So to #Kherson, that I am not allowed to report much about. Five artillery shelling on the Russian positions during the day. -->
🇺🇦🧵🗣️Yesterday Kenneth Gregg reported the following (1/13):"Today [yesterday] our Nordic media reported that the Russians have advanced and taken more land. Why the hell don't they talk about WHAT land. Since they don't, I'll tell you about it. -->
2:" The only land they have taken is EAST of #Popasna. This is land of no strategic importance whatsoever, while to the north is what is important. The only thing this has brought is heavy losses to the Russians and now they are out in the open, -->
3:"...I am talking about the areas around #Toshkivka. Instead, they should have concentrates on taking over the #Bakhmut-#Lyshansk road. Why then bother, many ask? You don't have to be a general to realize this. After all, the Russians' target is #Lyshashansk and there we -->
🧵🇺🇦🗣️My daily Kenneth Gregg /#UkraineRussiaWar report: "There is an increased connection between the #Kharkiv front and the #Izyum front. Ukrainian forces are now close to the border with #Russia and, for example, the village of Sereda on the Russian side has come under fire.-->
2)"The Russians are reinforcing their troops at #Bryansk and in the #Kursk area in fear that Ukrainian forces will attack across the border. The Russians try to evade the Ukrainian counter-attack at Izyum by advancing south-east. The Siverskyi Donets area is more lively: -->
3)" the Russians have captured Oleksandropillia and have reached Viktovrika and Komushuvakha. In other words, they have broken through the 1st line of defense but since the Ukrainians have very strong fortifications in the 2nd defense line, they are sure to be stopped there. -->
🧵🗣️🇺🇦 My daily Kenneth Gregg report: "Today, all Russian submarines in #Sveastopol have gone out to sea. Presumably to fire missiles at #Odessa, which has already had a rain of them over the past week.
Ground fighting has not been as fierce as yesterday. -->
"However, the Russians have gained a bridgehead near #Lyman. They have tried to hold positions at #Oleksandrivka and have tried to attack #Maryinka. The Ukrainian positions are holding. Also on the main front at the Donbas, we are holding the Russians at bay. -->
"My friend, who is fighting there, reported that the day has been unusually calm compared to yesterday's repeated Russian attacks.
At Izumy, the Russians have been very calm, probably moving troops to Kivsharvika to try to discourage the Ukrainian counter-offensive that aims -->
🧵🗣️Another exciting report from Kenneth Gregg /#Ukrania :"Yesterday the #Russians returned to Russian soil in several places. People have even been evacuated away from the border on the Russian side. Whether the Russians are going into a defensive position on Russian soil-->
"or whether they are continuing into #Belgorad is difficult to say. However, we do know that the Ukrainian artillery has M549 HERA shells with a range of up to 30 km, so if we decide to set up our artillery on the border, we will reach the Russian depots outside Belgorad.->
"The temptation to besiege Belgorad is probably great at the moment, but it is politically impossible. On the other hand, I think the Ukrainian offensive is now turning towards #Kupyansk. If that goal is reached, then the Russians' time in Izumy is totally over,-->
🧵🗣️My "daily" report from soldier Kenneth Gregg/Ukraine: (sent last night) "12 hours ago, the #Russians attacked with SU-34 jet aircraft, tanks, GRAD MLRS, 120 mm howitzers and heavy machine guns in the #Zaporizhzhia region at the following locations:
Novodanylivka, Kamyans, Pavlivka, Orikhiv, NovoandriyivkaHuliaipole, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Vremivka, Novosilka, Poltavka, Volnei Pole, Zaliznychne, Uspenivka and Belogorye. As we can see on the map, this area would be of the greatest strategic importance to the Russians,
but as usual they were set back with heavy losses of men and materiel. For our part, we were left with total destruction in these villages. Eleven hours ago they also attempted an attack in Rubizhne and Popasna in the #Luhansk region, without success.
