Since my firing, TN has continued to be near the bottom for #COVID19 vax rates overall (43rd). Among children 5-11 it's (47th) w/ 0% improvement since 6/15. Among 12-17yo, it's 49th w/ 0% improvement since 6/15. TN is among states w/ the highest counts of MIS-C.

Tennessee has a legislature that made ivermectin readily available but legislators asked the Gov to stop vaccinating kids against #Covid19 through health departments. The current test + rate is 25%, not counting all the home tests that are + and not reported.

I used to tease that I was a "rep-inde-crat". Raised in a conservative Catholic home. Fiscally conservative. Socially progressive. Tennessee has taught me that a republican-controlled government since 2011 is bad for Tennesseans.
TN is one of only 12 states that didn't expand Medicaid. 32nd for unpd medical bills. Highest for hospital closures. Needs billions in infrastructure improvements. 47th for funding #publiceducation. 37th in #maternalmortality. Lowest voter turnout. But, hey! Rainy day fund! #vote
