The Weapons for Mass Destruction (and their Delivery
Systems (Prohibition of Unlawful Activities) Amendment Bill, 2022 was listed for discussion
External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar spoke briefly on it amid protests

S. Jaishankar on Bill:
- original act takes into account UNSC FATF mandated provisions related to financing of weapons of mass destruction
- Bill will empower central govt to freeze, cease & attack funds that finance such weapons, presently no provision, hence amendment

As MPs were protesting, audio of Sansad TV kept getting cut off in between
Dy Chair mentioned a motion to send Bill to select committee, but not moved
Leader of Opp Mallikarjun Kharge called to speak.
He mentioned 'Since y'day, we have been trying', Dy Chair stopped him.

As Dy Chair moves back to Minister, MPs start protesting, raising slogans:
