Shahram Poursafi is wanted for his alleged involvement in criminal activities to include material support to terrorism and the attempted murder for hire of a former high-ranking United States Government (USG) official.

From October 2021 to April 2022, #Iran-based Poursafi allegedly used encrypted, Internet-based messaging applications to hire criminal elements within the United States to murder a former USG official in Washington D.C. or Maryland, in exchange for $300,000.

Poursafi is a uniformed member of #Iran’s IRGC, a designated foreign terrorist organization, and is assessed to allegedly be working on behalf of the IRGC Quds Force (IRGC- QF) to hire US-based individuals to murder a former USG official.

Beginning in October 2021, Shahram Poursafi, aka Mehdi Rezayi, 45, of Tehran, #Iran, attempted to arrange the murder of former Nat Sec Advisor John Bolton, likely in retaliation for the January 2020 death of IRGC Quds Force Qassem Soleimani.

"This is not the first time we have uncovered Iranian plots to exact revenge against individuals on U.S. soil."

All true. Now, the question is, why does the Biden administration insist on appeasing #Iran?

On Oct. 22, 2021, Poursafi asked Individual A, a U.S. resident whom Poursafi previously met online, to take photographs of John Bolton.

Individual A later introduced Poursafi to an associate (referred to in court documents as the confidential human source or CHS).

Poursafi contacted the CHS through an encrypted messaging app

Poursafi agreed to pay CHS $300,000 to hire someone to “eliminate” Bolton.

Poursafi added that he had an additional “job,” for which he would pay $1 million.

[Possible targets: Pompeo, Pence, or even Trump]

During their communications, the CHS made several references to Poursafi being associated with IRGC-QF. Poursafi never denied his involvement with IRGC-QF.

Poursafi provided the CHS with [Bolton's] work address in Washington, D.C.

Poursafi, on behalf of #Iran's IRGC, sought the assassination of John Bolton prior to the second anniversary of Soleimani's elimination.

Poursafi provided the CHS with specifics regarding Bolton's schedule that do not appear to have been publicly available.

How?!

This is very troubling.

It reminds me of the case when two arrested “fake Homeland Security agents” were able to compromise the US Secret Service.

Both had visas to #Iran.

Details on Poursafi talking about a second target, gathering on-the-ground information, and checking the security around John Bolton's home to "finish the job."

This indicates #Iran has a network of operatives inside the U.S. plotting assassinations against U.S. citizens.

Important take:
The current nuclear deal offered to #Iran's regime proposes the U.S. lifts terrorism sanctions on top IRGC financiers and affiliates.
