Anyone else celebrate #NationalCinemaDay by taking the family to see #jaws3D? Movie going is something I rarely got to do as a kid. I grew up poor so I saw ET and then right before I went to MEPS my mom took me to see Hunt for Red October. It is nice having the resources to treat
my own family to the theater experience. My problems are all first world now. Such is life for most people in America. Oh, we argue about various issues but end of the day very few of us go to bed hungry, or scared of random missile strikes and most of us can be 99.99% certain
that our loved ones will make it home each day. Speaking of #jaws you have to go back to WWII and stories like that relayed by Quint about the sinking of the #USSIndianapolis to find an America where, "will they make it home" is a community wide fear. If only that were true for
#Ukraine. Every few days, Ukraine loses the equivalent of a WWII warships crew due to Russian barbarity. Maybe that is why marriages are exploding across Ukraine even faster than Russian shells. Yesterday I saw @denintern's post that "she said yes". I am happy for you two,
and may your children be even more blessed than my own. May all of Ukraine's children now and in the future make it home safely and enjoy the blessings so many are fighting to secure. Speaking of kids and blessings, or the lack of them...

Plus, a growing flood of ground combat videos. Probably the best picture I have seen out of the region so far is this one, it hits obvious cultural touchstones as an American.
What they all show is that more than 6 months into the war, Ukraine is far from defeated and Russia's dreams of empire are on the ropes no matter what crazy threats Lavrov makes. As pressure builds I expect Lavrov to get even more unhinged and Russia will likely do everything it
can too weaken western resolve. They can't beat Ukrainian valor or western systems like the #HIMARS (go vote please)
and instead will try to weaken political resolve. It is important that my readers do their part to reach out to their leaders. I tag @JohnBoozman, @SenTomCotton and @RepFrenchHill every day letting them know my support is tied to their support for Ukraine
I also vote with my wallet. My charities of choice are @MriyaAid and I also give to the @georgian_legion and whatever current drive @Teoyaomiquu has going. I buy merch from vendors/institutions that support Ukraine like @saintjavelin and @ukrposhta as well as promoting Ukrainian
voices into the spaces I am part of. Speaking of spaces, everyone knows I can't speak highly enough of @MriyaReport and its my main go to if I want to find new Ukrainian voices, SME's, community and often some really top-notch guest speakers. My other efforts to support Ukraine
include these essays, and of course battling Russian dis-info as a #Fella and part of #WeAreNAFO. Its going to take as many people as we can muster doing as much as we can to support Ukraine until #RussiaTerroristState can no longer conduct its #GenocideOfUkrainians and is forced
