2/ Changes that were/are being rolled out
• Big changes to step to energy convergence changes

3/ Why?
• Encourage people to lvl their pets
• A lvl 22 pet only gives 300 energy more for banking 10k steps vs a lvl 1 pet. Not rewarding enough. Lvling needs to be meaningful
• +/- 50% of the DAU aren’t habitat holders. They've joined for the game. Walk, lvl up & battle.
4/ How?
• Less energy per step on lower pet lvl
• Lower the energy requirement to lvl up
• Level 1 to higher lvls will still take more or less the same time. However lvling will snowball & give significant progression to encourage users to do so.
• Avoid pure walk & harvest
5/ • Defined as "Practical Energy Gain" (whitepaper.genopets.me/game-mechanics…)
• Note: The free pet will eventually turn into an NFT (level requirement before able to do so).
• This through one of the smart contracts the team is currently working on (bring game items in & out of the game)
6/ Genopets DNA

• Started about 1 year ago
• A collective of people that really care about the game
• New system in the works in which DNA roles & Moderators can up & downvote access and removal of new/old members. DAO kind of setup.
7/ Genesis Genopets
• NFT based airdrop coming 1. Crafting related (snapshot date to be announced) 2. Energy drop
• Team also looking at practical advantages in the game.
• Genesis habitat holders aren’t forgotten but Genesis Genopets will be first.
8/ Android Users
• @genopets team have approval from Google Fit.
• #Android update on the way to improve battery life & step tracking.
• Hopefully available middle next week.
9/ Cheaters
• Automated system in place
• Cheaters are being actively punished (look at leaderboard)
• False positive rate is very low (90%+ are actually cheating)
• Working on automated way to improve the appeal process
10/ Habitats
* Genopet is now visualised on top of the habitat (in-app). Team still working on visual improvements.
* Crafting should improve importance of habitats (more value).
* Team thinking of possibly adding option to deactivate the habitats (due to new pet lvl up changes)
11/ Lore
• Team shared some insights regarding the lore. It’s something they’re working on.
• Interested in incorporating the daily inner human struggles into @genopets.
• Attached are examples of ‘Afraid' and ’Sorrow’.
12/ Genopet & Battle
• Team's working on visual expressions of how the pet is feeling (surprised, happy, …)
• Team has been playing with a number of different battle approaches
• Want it to be easy to pickup & difficult to master
• Use phone as a kinetic input device
13/ Crafting
• Smart contracts are going well.
• Most of testing is done.
• Integrating with frontend.
• Treasure hunt contract is actually the crafting contract. Kill two birds with one stone.
• Will have possibility to do experiments. Some things might work, others won't
14/ • Users can combine ingredients to tryout new, unexplored recipes.
• If it works, receive the recipe on your mainframe (tied to your account). If it doesn't work, you keep ingredients.
• Future recipes might require a certain habitat level or have an elemental requirement
15/ • Common, Uncommon & Rare augments can be acquired through ingredients in the lab
• Legendary & Mythic items will require a blueprint. Effort needed (through a story, events, active in the community etc)

• You have to find out what the recipes are. Solve puzzles
• The ultimate prize is to craft one of the few "Legendary augments"
18/ Legendary augments
• Released into the game through treasure hunts.
• A one time thing. No more will be created after the event.
• Limited edition (300).
19/ How to get it?
• Few weeks of puzzles that need to be completed.
• Solve the puzzle + pay 180 $Ki -> Receive a missing page from the crafting notebook.
• 5 pages grants a 1 time access to the legendary crafting lab.
• Craft legendary augment or get consolidation prize.
20/ • Puzzles can be solved multiple times (they'll change at each new attempt).
• Multiple chances to try & craft but have to pay the cost each time.
• The cost will be a certain amount of crystals, $GENE & $Ki.
* On #SOL they've been decreasing on a daily basis.
* On #BSC slightly increasing until 10/08 with a sudden drop off afterwards.
* On #ETH they're reduced to $1,400.
#SOL & #BSC had a sudden spike in the last 2 days of Q3 (#GMT earnings release)
* #SOL realm remains the biggest earner of fees with 85% daily fees on average last week.
* #ETH realm had +/- 24 days of > $100,000 daily earnings (60% of daily total). Only 1,3% now.
* #BSC realm between 10% - 14% of total since 12/08/22.

For a solid 3 weeks #StepN has been earning between 65 and 105 ETH on a daily basis.
On 11/08/2022 there was a major drop. I don't know why this was the case (sneaker floor price dropped drastically?)
Currently daily earnings are around +/- 1.5 ETH

Translating the previous chart to $USDC shows that #StepN was earning +/- $100,000 daily in the first 3 weeks after launch (with spikes to $150,000 daily).
The current daily earnings are between $2,500 and $5,000.

* He died on Earth, shattered in pieces. People had to walk to collect shards/pieces of him.
* That’s why there’re gems in the game.
* But if you have a storyline, you need to stick to the storyline.

1/ An overview of the fees #STEPN accumulated in Q3 on #Solana
Some assumptions were made: 1. #SOL & #GMT leaving the fee wallet are sold for #USDC (not proven) 2. Averages were calculated for some days (infrequency of the data).

2/ Daily-earnings (SOL)
It's important to know that @Stepnofficial doesn't transfer their fees daily. This is why I had to calculate averages for July. The numbers are more accurate for August.
Fees dropped from +/- 3,000 SOL in early July to half of this for most of August.
Translating all the data to USD shows that #STEPN was earning around $100,000 daily in fees earlier on in July. In the recent week, this number has dropped to +/- $45,000 daily.
