This is the start of Wednesday's thread on the #RussiaUkraineWar and all the news around it.

Yet the wife of a Russian General says “Neither we nor our husbands wanted war, but the whole West rallied to destroy us"
⚡️Breaking⚡️
Sounds of explosions at the Belbek airport on occupied #Crimea
Still awaiting confirmation or photos. But local reports say there were sounds of explosions over #Sevastopol city on #Crimea - near the airfield on the coast and in the Fruktovo district.
Could be #Russia's air defence taking down objects.
Around 250 Russians were likely killed or injured in the latest attacks in #Zaporizhzhia's occupied towns.
That's the view of #Ukraine's General Staff in the early morning report after its strikes hit ammo dumps, equipment as well as deployment points.
#Russia has raised aircraft in the Sea of Azov region, causing air raid alarms for many eastern and southern regions of #Ukraine, but not #Kyiv.
It looks like something has been shot down by #Russia's air defence above #Makiivka.
After photos of air defence being active in #Russia's Rostov region, the local Governor has urged residents not to panic.
But Vasily Golubev refused to confirm or deny #Ukraine drones were active, merely saying "the situation in the region remains stable."
So that's a yes then!
The usual nightly shelling of #Nikopol.
With the exception of a few nights at the beginning of the war and about 4-5 evenings since then, the town in #Dnipropetrovsk oblast has been hit each night.
This time no casualties. A car and a couple of private houses were damaged.
Britain's Intel concentrates on the recent strike in #Makiivka in its' daily update.
And here are the daily losses as issued by #Ukraine.

It may be someone's joke, it may be for some unexplained reason, but a single announcement like this, especially nowadays spread by social media, can easily cause a run on the banks.
The next big change on the frontline is likely to start on Friday, and it will be in the weather
There will be a big frost tonight and within 48 hours #Ukraine will be plunged deep in to minus figures even in daytime (e.g. #Bakhmut high -8c on Saturday)

#Russia's Occupiers in #Zaporizhzhia have rendered civilians virtual prisoners with strict curfews and almost no-one allowed to leave the town or village where they live.
I am happy watching these constant deliveries from honourable allies thinking how Putin, Lavrov, Shoigu, Progozhin et al, must be going puce with rage knowing their 50 new missiles one plane a month won't cut it!
Welcome to yet another daily thread as #Ukraine moves one day nearer victory in its bid to liberate its land from #Russia's illegal invasion.
We've reached Day 316. All the news updated here throughout the day, so come back and scroll through later.
DMs open for tip-offs.💙💛
Wednesday ended in lively fashion after a quiet day. If you missed anything, the big news was from #Crimea where explosions/air defence were reported in two separate towns.
I've had no direct update from eastern front, but gathering intel from various most reliable sources, it appears #Russia gained a little ground on the outskirts of #Soledar + #Bakhmut also, but have failed to get to the residential area which they briefly managed a while ago.
Thanks for joining me for another daily thread with all the important news surrounding the nations and Putin's illegal conflict.
Monday starts with many Ukrainians still under air raid warnings, but Russia looks to be hit too...
A flurry of activity towards the end of yesterday's thread as #Russia once again sent waves of drones into #Ukraine, again mainly heading for the capital.
Catch up on the whole day's events here by clicking and scrolling though:
The current threat seems to be dissipating. In some regions the all clear has been sounded, but not yet in #Kyiv. But the capital's air defence has shot down 10 attack drones so far tonight.
Different year, same story as #Russia's terrorism continued right through the new year, but lucky for you my daily threads continue to document the terror and war crimes.
It's already been a terrible start to the day
So much happened in the last hour of 2022 as attacks intensify over #Kyiv. Earlier there was another massive missile attack.
If you missed anything, check out yesterday's thread right here:
So we bid farewell to 2022
A year etched into the history books as the start of #Russia's illegal war in #Ukraine.
This is my daily thread number 311. Updating the news concerning the war in real time 24/7 each day.
Please share, spread the word and support!
I want to say thank you to everyone who's supported me in 2022, whether it's with words of encouragement, tip-offs, donations to my fundraiser or buying me a coffee.
I have tried to answer all comments and questions (tho some don't show up from time to time) and DMs remain open.
I didn't post much on the thread yesterday evening as it was quiet and remains so for the first 4.5 hours of Saturday in #Ukraine so far.
Here's the link for the start of yesterday's thread. If you missed anything you can scroll though:
The air raid still active right now is due to a couple of suspected kamikaze drones in #Kyiv oblast.
The Head of the region Oleksiy Kuleba says air defence is working, but one UAV is still thought to be active as they followed the river Dnipro towards the capital.
This looks like a photo from another world.
It's #Opytne, a small village on the southern outskirts of #Bakhmut.
There's still little change on the frontline here, though #Russia may be making ground in #Soledar after repeated attacks with #Wagner convicts.
