Gig work flourished and took root during the pandemic; particularly in 2021. Now, in 2022's chaotic economy; merchants, customers and laborers are festering as a direct result of the clearly-exploitative #contractor classification, which codifies #LaborLaundering and #appslavery.

This is not an axiom; it’s a fact. No hands are clean. No conscience is clear. Just business. Exploiting labor, up to and including slavery; as well as causing injury and death, characterizes predatory capitalism.

The Military Industrial & Prison Industrial Complexes in particular, are endless sources of known, highly studied and understood torture, killing and malevolent human mayhem, allegedly via our good empirical choices; to make our world a safer, better place for someone, somewhere.

"Empirical" is a word that's always fascinated me. While its meaning is NOT derived from the word "empire," there's at least an ironic connection to an empire's collective mindset about the existential benefits, righteousness and infallibility of its acts.
