Walking around Al Aqaba neighbourhood in #Aleppo today as dusk fell. Every narrow street was blocked with fallen buildings, piled high with random household items, huge concrete cross beams snapped and thrown to earth at impossible angles.
A young man told us his whole family home had collapsed. He was not there at the time. His handsome Husky somehow survived on the roof. Everywhere devastation.
We asked him how he was feeling. He said "the war was much easier than this".
We clambered over unstable heaps of stone, children's dolls, metal water tanks flung from collapsed rooves. The young man told us that people fled their homes in pitch dark only to be buried under the walls that were falling all around them. I can't imagine the terror.
A family were discussing at the foot of the hill. They argued over how long the quake lasted. One minute or two, five? The one guy said "all this destruction [from God] in such a short time and still we didn't learn".
According to sources @PowerUSAID is exploiting #Syria earthquake tragedy to promote #WhiteHelmets & restore credibility of brand - a group affiliated wth #AlQaeda, accused of multiple crimes by #Syrian people including organ trafficking (failed cover up by @BBC Mayday Series)
This is because the #WhiteHelmets failed to achieve rebranding in #Ukraine. #OPCW IIT report failed to cover up WH role in staging events #Douma 2018 that led to accusations of "chemical weapon" use by #Syria - discredited by dissident inspectors & BBC producer Riam Dalati.
#WhiteHelmets are enemy of Syrian people. During their occupation alongside armed groups funded/armed by FUKUS/Israel/Saudis/Qatar/Turkey & dominated by #AlQaeda- Syrian civilians were tortured, executed, crucified, incarcerated, murdered, exploited & abused.
The collective West are lying when they claim any solidarity with #Syrian people or that they are sending "humanitarian" aid to #Syria. They are sending only to areas controlled by #AlQaeda assets including #WhiteHelmets. Aid will not reach Syrian people in most cases.
Either it will be stored by the terrorist gangs for resale at high prices to the Syrian people (standard MO) or it will be traded in Turkey from the Bab Al Hawa border crossing.
Important new report on persecution of Syrian Christians in #Idlib by #AlQaeda-origin armed gangs. #WhiteHelmets have also taken part in desecration of Christian churches & violent seizure of property (testimony). Western regimes are anti-Christian.
"..since taking over Idlib, Islamist [terrorists] have established a stranglehold over Christian citizens, preventing them from practicing their rituals openly; they limited the services to prayers inside the church hall without ringing bells or raising crosses."
Christians have left Idlib in mass toward other Syrian areas or abroad, leaving everything they own behind. Thus, Idlib’s Christian population has dwindled dramatically. Reportedly, before 2010, Idlib was once home to 10,000 Christians distributed in the villages of al-Yacoubiyah

Sabah Hassoun's son Mohammed Shaaban was only 24 years old when he was martyred fighting with Syrian Arab Army in Tal Kurdi in Eastern #Ghouta. 13th August 2013, terrorist snipers shot Mohammed in the stomach. He was rushed to Harasta hospital but he died during surgery.
Sabah's husband told me:
"Our martyrs are in heaven, the martyrs who defend the terrorists and murder our people for Gulf money are in Hell. Our soldiers are defending their people, their country."
Sabah told me that Mohammed was her youngest son. She said:
"We give our children for #Syria because our country is precious but we pray that this crisis will end soon. Syria deserves the blood of our children but please God may this conflict end soon.
If people are thinking about complaining about the situation in their country - please be aware of what #Syria is going through right now.
1. Electricity: most areas in Damascus and countryside have only had 30 minutes to one hour in last 24 hours.
In the rest of Syria especially rural areas no electricity for 3 days at least. 2. Poor performance of the landline phone network and terrestrial internet due to lack of fuel to run generators during the time of power outage....
and even the towers powered by solar energy almost shut down because of cloudy weather. 3. Most of the large factories reduced their distribution because their vehicles have no fuel and many closed down until next week - crippling many industries and supply chains.
