The incident took place on Thursday (2 March 2023) afternoon, a 10-year-old Swedish girl was stabbed in the stomach and throat in central Gothenburg where she was with her grandmother and grandfather. +
According to the police, Swedish girl was rushed to the hospital and the situation is described as critical.

The migrant muslim man was arrested & the reason for the assault is still unclear and the police see no connection between the perpetrator and the victim. +
