This is the start of daily thread number 430 of the illegal war in #Ukraine, with all the news in one place.

A very good Saturday morning to you; it's been a lively start to the day for #Russia's occupiers.

If you want to support independent journalism, see my bio to buy me a☕️
First though the usual link to the start of yesterday's thread. Take a scroll if you missed anything or need a catch-up:

#Crimea has been illegally occupied by #Russia since 2014. It was the very start of this war, far predating the full invasion 14 months ago.

But the Occupiers are getting worried. Overnight an oil depot was set on fire when a drone hit Kozachi Bay. No injuries reported: ImageImageImage

The so-called "Governor" of #Sevastopol on #Crimea says the hige fire won't affect fuel supplies in the region.

Mikhail Razvozhaev says "These reserves were not involved in the supply of fuel to gas stations."
So that means #Ukraine hit army #Russia reserves, right Misha?
As predicted, the total of #Russia's dead in this sickening war, leaps over 190,000*
15/16 May should see that number hit 200,000.

Equipment losses for the invaders generally low, but vehicles/fuel tanks again above average

More evidence, in the i paper, of #Russia's mercenary group's involvement in the conflict in #Sudan.

#Wagner troops are operating in both the capital #Khartoum and, maybe more worryingly, #PortSudan from where most evacuations will happen after today.

The update from British Intel this morning is interesting.

London takes note of #Russia's claims over yesterday's murder of civilians in #Ukraine, particularly in #Uman'
But the conclusion is surely the same:

Oh thank you Caroline for buying me a couple of coffees this morning.

Caramel Latte it will be - Sweet Caroline?

A teenage girl, illegally and forcibly deported from #Ukraine is now being prosecuted by her captors in #Russia.

While her mother in Ukraine prays for her return, Human Rights Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets says Russia charged the 14yo to keep her captive.

How utterly disgusting to be in a foreign country and feel the need to support the terrorism and civilian murder your regime commits.

#RussiaIsATerroristState

Another 'unexplained' explosion in #Russia

This was spotted in the Glushkivskyi district of #Kursk, close to the border with #Ukraine.

#StopRussia
Two big supporters of mine, Morgan and Toni bought me coffees a little earlier.
So a big thank you to you both💙💛

President Zelenskyy says liberating #Crimea will cost far fewer lives than anticipated.

#Ukraine's President says "Russia is very much weaker. They lost their powerful army of military personnel."

The interview is here but not in English:

The #Ukraine Support Fund initiative, started by the UK, will soon procure more weapons and help.

Among the sought-after equipment are long-range rockets and equipment to ensure the mobility of troops, including bridges and landmine countermeasures.

In #Krasnodar they're denying rumours #Russia has lowered the age for mobilisation🤣

#RussiaOnFire

Remember fire destroying the village of #Sosva in #Russia?

Well just 100km away another village in #Sverdlovsk is threatened. This was how #Alapayevsk looked from the train. Can't believe any western country would still be running services in these conditions!
Video just in from #Kramatorsk where kamikaze drones hit in the early hours this morning.

Two people were injured in #Russia's latest attack on what authorities say was a private house. One of the injured is a child who's being treated for severe burns.

#StopRussia #SaveUkraine
This diet of outrageous lies is astonishing.
#Russia's main channel news shows pictures of the massacre it commited in the #Ukraine city of #Uman'

But such is the propaganda and brainwashing they say this was a Ukrainian attack on #Donetsk.
@CurrentTimeTv proved the deception.
Earlier today Yevgeniy Prigozhin threatened to pull out of #Bakhmut (RU: #Artemovsk) if they did not receive more ammunition.

Here's what the #Wagner boss said (English subtitles by @vidtranslator)
There's been shelling in occupied #Donetsk this afternoon.

The Occupiers say one person's dead in the town in the town of #Yasynuvata just north of Donetsk city.

The French company which has been delighting in trading with the Terrorist State, has been under investigation for 3 years.

@AUCHAN_France refused to close its operations in #Russia. Tax paid to #Russia helps kill Ukrainians.

Big situation in #Russia this evening.

Locals in the border region of #Bryansk report shelling at, or near, the railway station.

The local Governor says two people were killed in the village of Suzemka when a house suffered a direct hit.
#RussiaOnFire

This blaze broke out at 8pm tonight at a factory in #Perm.

The Motovilikha plant used to supply shells and other ammo for the Defence industry and may have restarted production since the war began.

Officials only say a transformer box was on fire.
#StopRussia
#Putin is wanted on war crimes charges for the forced deportation (i.e. kidnapping) of children from #Ukraine

It's now known around 100,000 children were given "medicals" and 70% found to have "chronic problems" which required them to be sent to #Russia😡

Wednesday. Day 1302 of the illegal war started by Russia.

For all the fact-checked news about Ukraine, analysis not sugar-coated, and honest appraisals of the situation, trust an expert who isn't here for clicks (if I was I'd post lies & gory videos).

Thanks for being #TeamTim
Yesterday an astonishing report from Yale showing Russia forcing kidnapped kids to work in drone factories, how Croatia may have embarrassed the Putin/ Hungary/Slovakia axis.

Those and many more stories in Tuesday's thread, click here to review:

2-3 weeks ago, Russia started copying Ukraine's attacks on railway infrastructure and is having success.

At night, Ukrzaliznytsia substations were hit, causing power losses firing the rail network.

Over 20 passenger trains were on affected routes, but there are no casualties. Image

Day 1301 of Ukraine fighting for its survival. The right to be free, speak their own language, worship in their own churches, to learn their own history.

A history of long suppression by Russia.
As war crimes grow daily, the words "never again" don't seem to apply.
Here's the🧵
Yesterday began, and ended, with Russia attacking Zaporizhzhia, injuring civilians.

Also, the head of the IAEA disgraced himself in Russia's arms, changes of 🇺🇦army leadership, and how a Russian guy was a Putin opponent, until 3 mins after being elected.

First though a breaking news after a number of morning attacks by Russia, particularly in Kyiv region.

This is in the town of Fastiv where a logistics centre for the electronic retail company EpiCentre (EpiTsentr).

Residents are warned of potential air pollution. Image

Day 1300 of Putin's war.
Another 100 days of fighting completed.
We are no nearer peace than we were 100 days ago.

Almost 200 days ago Trump demanded a 30-day unconditional ceasefire.
Not surprising as he started it, it's always Putin stopping peace.

Here's Monday's daily🧵
If you were busy over the weekend, click the link to see all Sunday's stories.

It was a day when Ukraine had to quickly repair a main railway line after a massive explosion, but they also managed to make multiple hits on Russia's rail and oil industries

The overnight bombardment from Russia remained lower than usual, although 84 drones and 3 S-300 missiles caused a fair bit of damage on 'soft' targets

With 59 UAVs stopped, that's a 70% success rate.
None of the missiles was intercepted either

The 28 hits occurred in 13 places Image

Day 1299 - the daily thread starts here, covering all things to do with the illegal invasion of Ukraine by its demonic neighbour.

Plenty to catch up on due to the late start today.
So no time to waste, let's go...
Apologies for the much later start than intended, due to a few technical issues, as well as Dad's Taxi being booked for a rescue mission😂

Before we look at today's events, here's the link back to Saturday's thread:

At the end of yday's thread, I wrote about what was a probable Russian strike on Kyiv's railway.

Ukraine's Gen Staff doesn't say it was an attack but admits a "detonation of ammunition on a train carrying military cargo"

Accidents happen, but either way it's a clear blow.

Hello on Day 1298 of Russia's full invasion of its sovereign neighbour. So, only 1295 days late in fulfilling the boast of taking Kyiv in 3 days. #EATP for Putin.

I've compiled a🧵every single day without fail.
You can help my work with a boost, comment, re-post or a coffee🙏
Friday saw more important visitors arrive in Kyiv (and another familiar place is in Ukraine today).

There was more solidarity and practical support, while Russia suffered more oil woes.

If you missed anything, click and scroll here:

I'll start in Odesa, because that's where the familiar face has turned up.

He was planning to return to Ukraine a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't make it, but now Boris is back.
Loved by nearly all Ukrainians, his early arrival (with Lord Ashcroft) meant he avoids the crowds. Image

Hello once again on Friday 12 September 2025.

Day 1297 of Russia's imperialist war, but the senior bully keeps being given a bloody nose by the junior school kid next door. How embarrassing for the "world's second greatest army" and more 'punches' thrown by Ukraine overnight..
There was so much in yesterday's thread.

Russia hitting churches, Ukraine striking a boat.
The US helping Belarus, which helps🇷🇺 & Trump questioning if the drone attack on Poland was a mistake.
Thursday ended with a Ukraine drone surge into Russia:
It was busy at Kyiv's main railway station this morning with two VIP arrivals making unannounced visits.

Prince Harry accepted a request to return to Ukraine saying "we have to keep (the war) at the forefront of people's minds."

Poland's FM @sikorskiradek hopped off soon after Image
