1) The modern liberal ideology revolves around finding victims, exaggerating their victim status, and portraying anyone who disagrees with this as the oppressor who must in turn be opposed by those of the liberal ideology. See the Gaza protests. bbc.com/news/world-mid…
2) This search for new depths of victimization inevitably leads liberals into heightened levels of idiocy and tunnel-visioning; so focused are they on the victim, that they can't see the evidence right in front of them that their 'victims' may be playing them for fools.
3) Look carefully at this picture of a Gaza resident using a rock sling. This is from the same freaking BBC article I just linked. See what's in this guy's other arm? Look at that. A crutch. For a guy who's able to stand stable enough to use a rock sling.
4) The evidence is right in front of them that something isn't right, but they ignore it.
5) Such is their tunnel vision, that they ignore that these protests aren't a result of the embassy going up. They've been happening annually every year. Here's an article from last year. aljazeera.com/news/2017/05/p…
6) Such is the liberal ideology's tunnel vision, that they failed to notice one other factor that @TessHottenroth was kind enough to point out to me (even I get my head up my ass sometimes): There are protests happening in Jerusalem and the West Bank too, with no casualties.
7) There have been protests in the West Bank for weeks that the liberals have paid no attention to that haven't been violent. What is the difference? haaretz.com/middle-east-ne…
8) Hamas, a designated terrorist organization, controls Gaza, while a different group, Fatah, controls the West Bank.
9) "In Gaza Hamas security forces have made it easy for protesters and have provided them with what they need, in the West Bank the Palestinian security forces that are still coordinating their efforts with the Israeli army will not allow mass protests." al-monitor.com/pulse/original…
10) What's that? Palestinians preventing mass demonstrations from turning into riots and preventing loss of life? Say it ain't so! Odd how NO ONE IN WESTERN MEDIA IS PAYING ANY ATTENTION TO THAT.
11) Granted, the article I linked still tries to cast the Gaza protesters as desperation-driven victims, it only exacerbates the issue I mentioned previously. They are tunnel visioning so hard on the individual 'victims' that they can't see the circumstances.
12) Gaza is ruled by an ACTUAL TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. West Bank is not. Which place would you logically assume is a poverty-stricken shithole? The place ruled by a terrorist organization, or the place that is not?
13) In mass protests, where do you think more casualties will occur? The place ruled by a terrorist organization, or the place that is not?
14) This kind of logic is not that hard. Like, at all. Yet I just watched 95% of the world's media organizations ignore the fact that there are guys with crutches running around without even a limp, sometimes on pictures in their own goddamn articles. /end
