1. I have a burgeoning theory about this Caputo news, and how it might tie back to the "new line of inquiry," being pursued by @DevinNunes. Hear me out and see what you think. A mini thread.
2. Caputo states in the interview that he has recently testified before the Senate Intel committee, "that a contractor with a government agency was attempting to pass to him, through an intermediary, Hillary Clinton emails; and the intermediary reached out to him."
3. His testimony before the Senate intel committee was May 1st 2018. It just so happens that the first news of @DevinNunes pursuing what we now know as the "new line of inquiry" came on May 3rd. 2018, just two days later.

4. Well, you may say that Caputo has previously testified before the HPSCI also. Yes, he did. However, it was in July of 2017 while @DevinNunes was temporarily away from the committee (April to Nov) because of a phony ethics charge brought by Democrats.

5. So, my theory is that someone on the Senate Intel Committee (Cotton?), or Caputo himself, may have refreshed or informed @DevinNunes about this development that he was not previously aware of. Caputo said this about his testimony before the HPSCI. 👇
6. The details that Caputo relays in his interview match up very nicely with what @DevinNunes seems to be pursuing. Also, I find it curious that this person who approached Caputo has "disappeared." My, that is curious. Who else can we think of that has disappeared?
7. Oh yes, that would be the so-called "Russian agent" Joseph Misfud. And, Just like Jonathon Winer started spilling the beans about his role in the dossier before Nunes even asked, similarly, I think someone in the DOJ panicked over this new inquiry and coughed up Halper.
8. We already know there were more than just Halper. Misfud is key.

10. There are many implications from this Caputo interview, and from the Nunes "new line of inquiry," if I am correct. The most obvious is the timing of Caputo being offered the HRC emails. If the Russian hack story is killed, the whole collusion narrative is kaput. Misfud is key
11. This theory may be proved wrong but the Nunes pursuit and the Caputo news are still linked together. If Caputo was approached by an NSA contractor peddling HRC emails, Nunes is likely asking for the list of NSA contractors allowed to access the database. FISA abuse.
