I often think about how my generation of women was sold the well intentioned message: 💪🏼"you *can* have it all"✌🏼... and while I obviously believe that nobody should have to choose between an education/career and love/family BECAUSE OF THEIR GENDER I worry that [... 👇🏻] ..we have taken on board this idea that women (in particular) don't have to choose AT ALL. And that we're somehow now failing, or less feminist, if we *don't* have it all. Except, and here's the rub, NO ONE can have 'it all'. There are literally only 16-18 usable hrs of the day..

I don't want to see it. #PokemonGO #bodypositive #dietculture #strongnotskinny Calorie counting begins at younger and younger ages, particularly in girls, and correlates far better with teenage obesity and disordered eating (one of the most fatal mental health issues) than adult good health. This is a very poor decision indeed. Please reconsider.

17 years on I still get really sad and angry about my all-too-common experience of PE as a teen… As a grown-ass woman I love and value the physical and emotional / MH benefits of exercise and ‘in body’ time more than I really can say…

Tell them at length, with details.

Repeat yourself. And tell them again. Tell the people on the edges; the friends, the new flame, the long-ago ex - the people you 'love' but don't usually admit you *love*.
