@VoiceOfFranky Don’t discount rural Ontario. We have a fair share of these types. @VoiceOfFranky Threading Frank’s tweets because they are #thread worthy

I am so fucking sick of every conservative politician & every conservative pundit who got the message to “make this Trudeau’s problem”! We all need a bullshit radar because this is full on #Gaslighting Does this absolve the Liberal govt from responsibility for that has happened? No! They clearly underestimated the risk & overestimated provincial & municipal capabilities to deal with the situation.

I have no doubt that, like so many, the pandemic was causing a great deal of stress and aggravating mental health issues. #thread #cdnpoli #cdnmedia #RideauHall But we all need to be clear that, there is NO EXCUSE or rational explanation for what he did - or attempted to do. #cdnpoli #cdnmedia #RideauHall

In 2015, @CPC_HQ spent a lot of time & $$ telling us Trudeau was #JustNotReady even tho Trudeau was world traveled, grew up steeped in politics, had 2 university degrees, had worked various jobs, including a few yrs as a teacher, & had been an MP for 7 yrs. This year, @CPC_HQ spent a lot of time & $$ telling us Trudeau is #NotAsAdvertised even tho their own leader spent the last 15 yrs lying about his university degree, his credentials as an insurance "broker" & his work experience prior to politics. And he hid his US citizenship.

This is worth sharing again. Parties tend to play on our emotions when vying for our votes but #FactsMatter

The link in the tweet below provides an non-partisan analysis of the Trudeau govt's performance vs it's 2015 campaign promises. #cdnpoli #elxn43 It's also worth noting that the Cdn economy is doing great, with decades low unemployment and wages on the rise. #cdnpoli #FactsMatter #ELXN43

It's more than a little ironic that @andrewscheer would claim @JustinTrudeau & the Liberals just make stuff up given there's a veritable treasure trove of evidence that it's EXACTLY what he & his party do DAILY. This CANNOT continue to go unchallenged! #cdnpoli #cdnmedia #thread Just a short while ago, I dissented a 3-tweet thread from his Comms Director that contained multiple falsehoods. #cdnpoli

A short thread about #cdnmedia the role of journalism (as I see it) and partisanship in Canada. #cdnpoli

Here we have a prominent Ottawa journalist denouncing his union head for taking an anti-Conservative position in the upcoming federal election. I get it, and I understand it. The media - and "journalists" in particular - have an important role to play in a free and democratic society, particularly in the lead up to an election. Their role is to inform the public.

Dear women & girls of #Canada
I hope you're paying attention to this very important message from #AndrewScheer & his #CPC

With this tweet, they are signalling that your safety & your life are not as important as the jobs of construction workers. #cdnpoli Studies have shown that when large construction projects bring "man camps" into remote rural areas, there are impacts on those rural communities.

The Conservative know this. They don't care. They wilfully ignore it - and they hope you don't know about.

Has Trudeau made mistakes? Sure he has. Every leader does. I give him credit for admitted as much. Most are incapable of such honesty and self-awareness. #cdnpoli #TrudeauMustStay #NeverScheer Of course, Leo would prefer that we elect #WeakAndy - Harper's puppet. But let us remember the govt of which Andy was part ... #cdnpoli #TrudeauMustStay #NeverScheer
