I'm looking for someone to tell me I'm wrong. Please 1/ So a colleague at work has died. 2 weeks on a ventilator, they're sayin it's covid. They were unjabbed. 2 more colleagues ended up in hospital. Both unjabbed to my knowledge. So I'm worried. But not because I fear vanilla SARS CoV-2. 2/

That's a lot of quotation in 1 sentence. Labour are supposed to be the workers party, under KS it has reverted to the controlled opposition, govt B-Team that they were b4 JC. 1/ What "emergency"?

Please don't obey the #RuleOfSix. It hasn't even been passed thru parliament as an act of law. No vote has taken place for it. We're at the stage now where the government is ruling by decree. If you obey this rule, you are endorsing a dictatorship. Never mind that it makes no sense anyway. It's not 'only ever be near the same 5 people', it's 'dont be near more than 5 people at any one time.' so you could move from group to group and all intermingle and if there was a deadly virus it'd get around everyone anyway. 2/

I have a friend who works in an infectious diseases ward. She tells me that of all the people who have been admitted w/ symptoms, every single one has recovered & gone home well. That's not to say the virus hasn't legitimately caused deaths... 1/ ... but she is astounded by the way people w/ other very serious conditions are bein written off as having died BECAUSE of CV19, rather than died 'with' CV19.
Novel viruses are dangerous, as humans don't have immunity to them, but the greater theat is oppressive laws passed.. 2/

Such a delicate & complex issue cannot be done justice in a single tweet. I've tried, having been irritated by leadership candidates endorsement. Critique of this pledge requires unpacking as it is certainly not about hatin on trans. 1/ Pledges 1-3 are broadly unproblematic. However, while it is right to oppose hatred, there needs to be a conversation about what constitutes 'transphobia'. The pledges label progressive, inclusive orgs like WPUK (who are attended by trans people) as 'transphobic hate groups'. 2/

Corbyn is about to win a MASSIVE PR boost.

@joswinson, in her rabid desperation to help the Tories limit the chance of electoral success for Labour, has pledged not to support amendments to an election Bill, because it 'needs the best chance of passing'. This is insane. 1/ What she's claiming is that parliament would be LESS likely to support a GE in which 16 & 17yr olds could vote or in which EU residents could vote. Really?! That's huge. That's a win for Lexiteers. NO major parties campaigned for Leave. BJ needs an election b4 the 31st Oct but can't be to blame for calling one. Why did this life long critic of the EU position himself as chief opponent of 'no-deal' (actual brexit)?
Because he saw how parliament was going to obfuscate the concept of leaving.
