There is nothing in the economy yet calling for this, and factories/luxury travel won't boom due to a rate cut if people fear the virus. So... Fed made a useless and early move due to Trump pressure.

I canceled my late April trip to Europe but now that the Fed cut rates, I am reconsidering.
