A useful work by Sayyed Mohammad Asghary from the philosophy department at Tabriz surveys the reception of #Western philosophy 7/

Very much a sketchy history but it covers the major figures of the traditions - one wonders if it traces their reception in Iran but I suspect the main attempt is to introduce and falls within the current vogue for #analytic and history of philosophy in #Iran 12/

Interestingly the same author has written an introduction to the #Kyoto school - now what would be interesting is to compare them to the #Iranian embrace of #Heidegger and modern #German philosophy 13/
