Shortly before dawn, #Russia fired 4 Kalibr cruise missiles from its Black Sea fleet.

#Ukraine says two were shot down.

However, #Khmelnytskyi has been hit.

The Mayor Oleksandr Simchishin confirms 2 injured and say 10 apartment blocks and 3 educational institutions have been damaged.

In the early hours of this morning someone seems to have been smoking on the job in the city of #Ufa.

Worryingly, #Russia's war bloggers have stepped up another regular false narrative around the use of chemical weapons. They did the same in #Syria, then gassed the rebels.

The latest is this "discovery" of "unknown" toxic substances fired by #Ukraine in #Vuhledar (RU: #Ugledar)

Despite the fact #Russia is commiting war crimes, starting wars and is an international pariah, two Brazilian footballers have applied for Russian passports.

Can't really feel any sympathy for these guys who claim they were trained in artillery, then sent to #Donetsk and told they'd be infantry.

Oh, and now they are effectively blackmailed each day to avoid being sent to the front.

Today marks 8 years since the #Debaltseve massacre.

136 of #Ukraine's soldiers were killed after holding out for weeks in the #Donetsk town, against four-times greater forces, and eventually being surrounded.

And Nine year ago today #Ukraine's then President gave the order to open fire on protesters from the peaceful Maidan camp.

I was there. One morning I woke to bodies lined up outside my apartment in central Kyiv.

Two days later #Russia invaded #Crimea.

Officials in #Khmelnytskyi admit #Russia's 2nd missile hit a "military facility" in the city

Regional Head, Serhiy Hamaly confirmed the news while also giving an update on civilian victims, a man and a woman, both stable in hospital. The man was in a minibus when hit by shrapnel

This is said to be proof of #Ukraine destroying a new type of Russian "Grad" for the 1st time.

In the occupied part of #Zaporizhzhia, US high-precision M982 Excalibur took out the "Grad" 2B26, a modernised version of the 2B5 combat vehicle, tranferred from Ural to KamAZ chassis.

As I mentioned earlier, it's 9 years since the start of the massacre on #Maidan. I was among the protesters in #Kyiv that night and the subsequent days as the President of #Ukraine, forced by #Putin to back down on his promise to join Europe, ordered the killing of civilians.
