- The heinous Syrian regime and its allies are taking advantage of the tragedy of the Syrian #earthquake in the most appalling manner possible, with the intention of gaining international sympathy and burying its crimes against the #Syrian people. I will share some stories.

- A Syrian singer named Nassif Zeitoun recently released a song supposedly sympathizing with the earthquake victims, but used a great deal of lies and propaganda, presenting footage from northwestern Syria and attributing it to areas controlled by the regime.

- The singer used clips of rescue operations carried out by the #WhiteHelmets, but deliberately obscured their presence. He also displayed footage of the Syrian regime's civil defense army, Red Crescent, and army personnel in a clear and unambiguous manner.

- The most terrible part is that Nassif used a video of a child being rescued from under rubble, claiming it caused by the #earthquake. However, the video was taken in 2014 after Assad warplanes attacked #Aleppo, and killed many people in the attack.

- As for Al-Assad and his government, they chose to ignore the media's coverage of Syrian victims in northwestern #Syria and #Turkey who make up the majority of the #earthquake's victims. Instead, they exploited their suffering by blackmailing the #UN.

- Vanessa Bailey and Eva Bartlett, two #British and #Canadian journalists who have been manipulated by #Russia and #Assad for years, have returned to spreading lies and propaganda against Syrians while attacking the #WhiteHelmets and inciting hatred towards them.

- Firas Shehabi and other politicians within the Assad government have incited violence by calling for the aid of civilians outside the control of their criminal president to be prevented. They've also urged that civilians be left to die under rubble and in the open.

- In the midst of this tragedy, the criminal Assad has been busy organizing visits to neighboring countries, receiving delegations, and exploiting the tragedy of the Syrian people to boost his regime's image and make the world forget his crimes against them.

- Regrettably, the #UN and some other countries have officially supported his ministry, despite their latest report less than a month ago that proved his responsibility for the use of chemical weapons and the killing of over 40 civilians in Douma.

- It's a pain that is indescribable as we watch the world and #UN ignore us, enabling Assad and his criminal regime to exploit the tragedy of the Syrian people, whom he has worked to kill for years in the most heinous manner possible.
