1/3 Dear @PhonePe users. This topic is important enough to justify a detailed clarification. So here goes:
1. You can delete your linked bank accounts via the app itself, anytime and permanently.
2. You can also delete your @Phonepe_ wallet permanently via CS.

3. In case of wallet closure, pld note that RBI's PPI guidelines mandate that the txn history be archived by the PPI issuer (us) for 10 years.

4. The @PhonePe_ login, currently it can be blocked, but not deleted entirely. This is definitely a miss on our end. No excuses!

3/3 We will add an acct deletion feature on priority, and roll out the change within a few days. Promise to update this thread when the feature is enabled. Rest assured, we will never hold our users hostage for any reason whatsoever.
