On May 25, 2017, Amanda Renteria published an article on Medium, which started with the words "Dear Friends".

It detailed a response to The Washington Post's story about the Open Society letter James Comey received in March 2016.

In it, Renteria agrees with the conclusion of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and The Washington Post: "It was simply made up by the Russians".

Pretty convenient.

Also, 17 intelligence agencies.

On July 7, 2017, Renteria published "My Response Letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee" on Medium, although the letter itself is dated June 30, 2017.

According to Renteria, the Federal Bureau of Investigation never contacted her about the March 2016 letter.

Renteria had zero contact with the United States Department of Justice in 2015 and 2016 related to the Midyear Exam investigation, and zero contact with Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz or her staff.

Renteria's article was a response to May 24, 2017's "How a dubious Russian document influenced the FBI's handling of the Clinton probe" in The Washington Post, written by Karoun Demirjian and Devlin Barrett, with contributions from Ellen Nakashima.

"Wasserman Schultz and Benardo said in separate interviews with The Washington Post that they do not know each other and have never communicated."

"Moreover, Wasserman Schultz, Benardo and Renteria said they have never been interviewed by the FBI about the matter."

But it was also simultaneously important enough to justify Comey's July 5 speech?

These guys have a habit of not investigating.

The FBI did attempt to gain the alleged e-mail between Wasserman Schultz and Leonard Benardo using their source for the letter, but could not.

At the time, the FBI was investigating the hacking of the Democrats and other organisations.
