Holy cow. Sullivan got a federal simple possession charge tossed because he was rich and famous and his citizenship application was pending. Now he wants a wall.
The judge published an opinion just to call out the U.S. Attorney for cronyism and appears to have named Sullivan's attorney just to imply that it was money that led to lenience.
The Court was not pleased at the preferential treatment and had no choice but didn't comply quietly.
Andrew Sullivan did immigration the right way. He paid a connected attorney to convince the government to go easy on him then yanked up the ladder.
for the record, sullivan essentially said he wanted the wall back in 2016 on bill maher's show, which made the folks at breitbart swoon. he isn't asking the democrats to concede out of respect for election results. it's his desired policy. 
and just to be clear, i don't want "smoking pot with your friends on the beach" to be grounds for deportation or to screw up a naturalization process - but you shouldn't get a special exemption because you have friends in high places
