Two leading Dem groups -- Senate Majority PAC & Priorities USA -- announce launch of $18 million *digital* ad campaign, targeting Senate races in AZ, FL, IN, MO, and ND. SMP also launching separate, $3 million campaign targeting MT, NV, TN and WV.
SMP/Priorities say ads "will run wherever voters are consuming content online, including Facebook and video and audio streaming platforms." Aide notes that all the ads in the partnership states, production & media planning, done in-house by Priorities' new 62 person digital team.

Steyer group @NextGenAmerica announces new $3 million ad campaign targeting young voters in 11 states, with release touting efforts in Florida governor primary -- "Andrew Gillum’s victory last Tuesday proved that a smart digital strategy is a winning strategy."

This is an utterly ridiculous statement from #OcasioCortez. And anyone hailing this as a grand statement should be ashamed of themselves. First of all, Ocasio needs to read and educate herself before making such foolish, grandiose, ridiculous statements like this.
The Democrats have always been this party. It is measures like the ones she mentioned that have driven the white voters away from the Democratic Party. If Ocasio didn't have her head so far up Bernie's ass and read, she would know this and would save herself looking foolish.
If she wants to talk about FDR's New Deal and LBJ's Great Society, how about she talk about how both their plans had failings when it came to African Americans and people of color. How about she talk about how Republicans have been intent on dismantling their programs.

As usual, Ocasio-Cortez did an excellent job on an interview that did not include questions about her platform.

Ironically, Chuck Todd held a roundtable on abolishing ICE that provided little information - only empty political calories.

Todd could have asked her about that.
Four people on a roundtable pontificated on how the idea would play. Almost nobody mentioned what it means.

Ocasio-Cortez is largely the reason we are having this discussion nationally, and Todd didn’t bother to get her view.

Instead, he brought it directly to the pollsters.

So, something pretty remarkable is going down in the #NY14 primary.

A massive underdog who was largely written off as certain to lose even a few months ago, @Ocasio2018, appears poised to not just pull of it but stomp her opponent by 12+ points.

There's more though.

Ocasio-Cortez's opponent, Joe Crowley, was among the most powerful House Dems and was thought to be a potential replacement to Nancy Pelosi.

He out-raised Ocasio-Cortez to the tune of $1.5 million to about $50k.

He won his last election by about 60 points.

2/
Crowley was endorsed by Planned Parenthood, NARAL, a million unions and Dem leaders.

Ocasio-Cortez was endorsed by... the Dem Socialists and that's about it.
