We found that from ‘06-‘14, @realdonaldtrump shifted from his old heavy-borrowing ways, and spent $400M-plus in *cash* on real estate.
That’s odd. Real-estate ppl borrow whenever they can. So why the change? Trump Org said: we were just swimming in ready cash, so why not?

But @TheScotsman shows that — While @realdonaldtrump supposedly was rolling in cash— he sought to borrow £38M to buy/renovate a £23M hotel.
And Scottish banks decided not to give it to him, b/c they thought it was “too risky.”
