Despite the source, this paper on defending Europe : "Global Britain" and the future of European geopolitics - henryjacksonsociety.org/wp-content/upl… - is well worth reading.
Oh, I should be clear what I mean by "despite the source". This is one of those sources I keep track on to see what the neocons are thinking. It's usually pretty offensive stuff and not worth the time of day. In this one case, despite an old world view, the paper has some merit.
This is always a tricky subject for me because even those I generally find reprehensible if not offensive, they occasionally write things which are more balanced, nuanced and have some points worthy of discussion.
Whilst the paper touches upon political, economic and technological power shift from West to East, hence why I think it's worth discussing, it fails to provide any ways to adapt / adopt such shifts but falls back into old models. A sort of "Global" but like the past "Global".
