For most of my childhood I thought I was going to grow up and go pro and then I realized that Louisiana is not exactly a hotbed of soccer talent against which to compare your skills. Shout out to the home state, we’ve got great gumbo, but sill trying to figure out the soccer part
This photo can also create the illusion that I had a robust & thriving college soccer career, which is uhh not the case. I didn’t get as much playing time as I wanted & had a 19 year old existential crisis & was then like “Hey! I’m going to be a writer instead!” And here we are.
