X : Do you still think Amazon will be the first $1Tn market cap company given how close Apple is?
Me : I said so between 2010 - 2012 (blog.gardeviance.org/2012/08/self-d…) and I see no reason to change my view. By the end of the year, I expect Amazon to have hit $1Tn.

... it'll be close though - a matter of months. I did originally expect Apple to falter (based on Steve Jobs leadership) but that was before Tim Cook took over. Cook has done a truly exceptional job with that company. Definitely one of the greats.
... in much the same vein, Satya Nadella has created a quite remarkable turn of fortunes for Microsoft. Very encouraging. Of course, the looming battle is Jack Ma vs Bezos.
