So, in order to survive and take care of the two of us, I had to fight -- for everything. From a wheelchair to needed therapies. That taught me a lot.

I lost the illusion of "someday." I know I really only have NOW - so "kicking the can down the road" is out. Also, I lost my fear. Look, I still shake when I give a speech and spiders make me squeal but fear of failing is gone.
