Time to check the FEC filings as the 2nd quarter is now trickling in...and theres some big revelations...one massive one.
On 4/26/2018 the DCCC made a disbursement of $500,000 to Crowdstrike, inc. Under purpose of disbursement: "legal expenses"

Question: On July 13, the DOJ announced the GJ returned an indictment for 12 GRU officers.

Unless I'm mistaken, there has never been an arrest warrant or any sworn affidavit in this case. Which is odd because there were against some of the Russian IRA folks.
Is it because the indictment is a complete sham and thus no one will ever sign an affidavit swearing to the allegations? Or am I mistaken?
Case in point. Here 7 GRU officers are indicted in a different case and the judge ordered arrest warrants👇🤔

(1/29) So this Tweet got me thinking: what would it actually take to expect an 8% return from a normal, diversified portfolio (if you're putting all your money in one stock name, good luck, because few people should be doing that) over a long time horizon.
(2/29) I am going to use a simple approach to create expected returns for basic asset classes. Massive assumptions have to be made and nearly all of them can be argued with; I'm going to try to be optimistic, as optimism is required to get us to 8% (as you will see).
(3/29) Note that one doing this should probably make up multiple scenarios and probability-weight them to come up with a true expectation, but I am just going to stick with a “base case.”

Look. This seems like hyperbole.

But it's not: The DoJ is getting more and more politicized, especially as the Mueller investigation circles the most inner circles of the Trump machine.

What isn't affecting you personally is still affecting millions of people.
And the laws that are being rewritten for the DoJ will be rewritten for you too at some point.
