Also, regardless of how good or bad you think Eminem has been. Joe saying Eminem wouldn't respond to Joe Budden dissing him is laughable.

The point about Eminem being stuck in his superstardom and not noticing the new school has changed the game is very right and a big problem with Eminem adapting to the time. These are the moments when Budden is brilliant in his analysis.

But he said something about Eminem worried he's not charting. Really? He's never not had a #1 album his entire career. He could fart and it'd chart. He mentions sales dropping to show that a lot of his fans were Fairweather. Not that he wants it back.

It's really hard to hear Joe gripe about how little support Em gave Slaughterhouse when he's been that way wayyyyy before they signed to Shady. Nothing about how he treated them was different. They just couldn't make any semblance of a hit. Once you can't, on Interscope, ya done

He said Interscope started giving Kendrick more attention and them alot less.

ANY LABEL WOULD DO THAT. Kendrick had Billboard hits, a classic debut, AND went platinum. What did Joe expect?

Side note: a former rapper saying "oooh I would kill you ok a record" and then hitting gun shot sound effects instead of... You know... Rapping just feels millennial weak

Also, the way Eminem promotes his artist is the EXACT SAME WAY Jay-Z does. Just listen to the frustration J. Cole had with Jay-Z for the first 2 years of him being on Roc Nation. Dude leaked an entire album worth of music. Superstar rappers are always hands off.

Want to know why Rick Ross can promote MMG artists better than other rappers can promote their artist? Because Rick Ross isn't THAT far removed from any artist he signed. Rick Ross is selling the exact same as the artists on his label because he's also in their tier.

If Ross hops on a record with Wale, Stalley, Meek, or Rockie Fresh, it's not "oh I'm only here to hear Ross". It's "oh another MMG song".

If Jay-Z or Eminem gets on any record from any of their artists it instantly becomes "oh shit, we're getting new [Em or Jay] bars."

Also, don't forget when Meek said Wale was complaining about Ross owing him money. Ross is the gold standard, but every rapper who signs rappers eventually ends in frustration.
