Thus far pretty unhappy with @HuaweiMobileUK p20 pro. Fingerprint sensor failed randomly. Then face recognition. Sent for repair, screen replaced. Now NFC failing. Back for repair. 3 month old phone.
After my iPhone 5 debacle I'm not going back to iPhone (woeful build quality). I'd like close to stock Android, but Pixel is overpriced and under specced. Samsung = never. So Huawei or Xiaomi (Mi 8?).
Funny how Chinese manufacturers are go-to now. There's obvious data / surveillance concerns. But for features / quality it's sort of baked in. My P20 Pro might be just a dud
Thing is, the P20 Pro is a lovely phone. It's fast as hell, the camera is exceptional, the screen is lovely, and EMUI is getting updates frequently, for now...
So I guess it's one more repair for the P20 Pro. Any further issues and I seek a refund. I'll be keeping an eye out for possible Android alternatives in the same price bracket.

Now that Turkish officials have pledged that they'll release evidence (including video footage, focus on black car) that they say supports the claim that @JKhashoggi was killed shortly after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, let's see what the #OSINT community can find.
A request to look at openly tracked flights from Istanbul to Saudi Arabia, or the other way around, has led to no results so far, but who knows what can still be found.
We've been looking at publicly available webcams around the perimeters of the Saudi consulate (h/t @evaludemann), but no webcam has been found. Here's the location: google.com/maps/place/Con…. Pakistani consulate surely has camera footage, but will they publish it?

2. MC1R and IRF4, than they were able to produce at least partial sequences of C-16 and C-4 using this magical mystery technique. For the sake of argument, lets assume they did. The mutation that created red hair manifests itself in about 8 different alleles in MC1R.
3. The primary pigmentation locus in IRF4 is at rs12203592. The chart below is from an Australian study that shows allelic relationships to skin and hair color. Note there are no dark skin associations.
