I’m not going to sugarcoat anything. We lost a tough fight. And it hurts. What happened today will touch every single person in this country, in some very real & terrible ways. But it’s OK to step back for a minute, take a breath, & lean on the shoulder of someone you love.
What’s next? We can't give up. We’re owning our anger – on behalf of women told to sit down & shut up. On behalf of African Americans, Latinos, LGBTQ Americans, Native Americans, students, seniors – everyone who gets shut out of power by men who don’t know how to share.
Remember: Even the fights we lose matter. If we keep fighting, we can turn our anger & pain into power. So to the Republicans & @realDonaldTrump: listen up.
