- Make pricing simple & fair
- Don't force someone to talk to a BDR if they don't want to
- train your team on the competition
- allow trials, pilots, whatever makes it better
- don't "break up" with prospects. help them
- don't play games with discounting
- make switching from another vendor seamless
- don't create sucker-autorenew terms. if they forget to autorenew, let them cancel later.
- allow customers to downgrade effortlessly.
- tell them thank you for closing this month, it is a favor. earn it, don't push it.
- then, ask them what else you can do to help. and mean it. and go do it.
