@Suzi3D Fellow friends of Suzie. There are many ways to access Bitcoin, and using a Bitcoin ATM is possibly the simplest.

If you live in a major city in North America, there are probably several Bitcoin ATMs nearby:

@Suzi3D Using a Bitcoin ATM to send Bitcoin is easy. To understand what happens, think of it as similar to paying cash over a bank counter, to be deposited at a specific bank account.

You need the cash you are sending, the account number you are depositing to, and access to the bank.

@Suzi3D In the case of a Bitcoin ATM you'll probably need to have a mobile phone to receive a txt/sms containing a verification code, and also to receive a receipt.

At some Bitcoin ATM locations you may also need identification. (This is not usual.)

@Suzi3D The "bank" account number is Suzie's Bitcoin wallet public key,

and you need to have this as a QR code printed on a piece of paper, or on the screen of your mobile phone.

It's very important to get this number correct.

@Suzi3D Once you are at the Bitcoin ATM, it's easy: just choose to buy Bitcoin using cash and follow the instructions. When prompted, hold the QR code up to the ATM's scanner camera. The ATM will confirm the number on its screen. Carefully check that it is correct.

You should receive a receipt on paper or by txt message.
