This is actually pretty funny
I feel like the main problem for her is that she was doing this riff to an out of state audience. Less cool than ribbing the state to knowing Arizonans.
There's also something to what she's saying there. Def long term changes afoot, demographic and otherwise, but AZ is in this weird category of purple state. Not terribly elastic/swingly, but tons of intense partisans on both sides with a narrow middle.
Still, good raw ammo for some effective spots. Thematically, "Sure, Sinema has cultivated this moderate image and voting record in the House, but behind closed out-of-state doors she's still the same smug liberal activist laughing at us."
Oof--now this one will leave a mark.
Not only do you start to see a pattern (Sinema dogging AZ to out of state audiences for laughs), this one has a sharper tone and was delivered at Netroots Nation of all places. Not exactly the TX Dem chicken dinner circuit.
Hey, if the whole Senate thing doesn't work out, at least she excellent comedic timing.
